Just my kind of content! Love your technics and how it makes such a difference in the final result 🤗 Totally subscribing and can't wait to see the next video!
Looking good. Good idea when pasting the brown paper to allow time to settle down to assist with wrinkling etc. will definately remember that hint. Thank you.
What an absolutely cute working desk, it's like a little peek into the future of your videos!😊Super video (and you mustn't have sorrows because of the voice-over, it comes over clearly and calm!)! I can see in the thumbnail, that Rose's house looks completet, so I hope, you will find the time to edit a new video soon! King regards from Germany and Mr. Mouse!
Aww 🥰 thank you for your kind words, Rose is just helping Jasmine with her new house, if you look closely at the thumbnail Jasmine is standing in the driveway on the left, she’s on vacation on the beach 😁there’s a reason jasmine hasn’t shown her face yet 😂 ( I still didn’t make her when I filmed the video)
Very cool watching your building process! I'm another one building a gnome home in a tree trunk house, using some different techniques to yours but I really love seeing how other creators are bringing their own visions in to reality. I look forward to seeing more of your work!
Thank you Nessie ☺️ I am subscribed to your channel 😁😉 I also like seeing how others create too, some times I get like a crafters block and my brain turns to mush 😂 seeing others helps to get an idea pop out of my brain.
@@karakreations1103 I understand completely what you mean! The same thing happens to me too sometimes, and then somedays the ideas are coming so fast I almost can't create fast enough to keep up lol. Often I even dream up ideas and solutions while I'm sleeping. It was a crazy coincidence when I saw the base you used for your house, I had only last week decided to use some of the same stuff as a base for my tree too! I was going to use plywood or MDF but then I remembered I had a bunch of that cardboard stuff in different thicknesses, which was packing material from my pizza oven! Perfectly strong and lightweight for the job.
@@nessiemonstercrafts my cardboard came in the TV box, it was very straight but after I cut it to size and left it for a couple of hours it warped, that’s why I put those pieces of wood, it fixed the warping 90% so I fixed the other 10% problem with the wooden stem around it 😅 hope this info helps you to avoid what happened to me.
Lovely results! But one tip on the paper bag: it will wrinkle when it gets wet, but nearly all of the wrinkles come out as it slowly dries. I'm also building a tree house (for elves and gnomes) but using a slightly different method. Some of your methods are easier, but some seem to be extra steps. Still great results either way. I'm looking forward to seeing more, so I subscribed. I came over from a comment you left on a video of The Little Mouse House. P.S. I absolutely love the background wall! I would love to see how you managed that.
Thank you so much for subscribing and I’m happy you like my work, 😂 yes the paper bag just leveled out a lot after drying, but I’m not stressing about it, I would love to see your tree house 🥰, I know that I did some steps that really were not necessary 😅 but I did them because I kept on banging the wall every time I took the house downstairs in front of the fireplace to dry,so I needed to make it strong enough to survive my abuse 😂, next video shows how I did the front of the house, it’s so easy but the result is mind blowing.
Your comment about the background wall made me think about making a tutorial and because I already did that part of the wall sadly I can’t show that, but I have the other half still not done, so after I’m finished with Jasmines house that will be the next project 😊 Thank you for pointing it out and giving me the idea for a new project to post ❤
@karakreations1103 I really look forward to seeing that. I would love to have some background for my tree, but I live in an apartment, so whatever I do has to be removable. But I could put some foamboard or cardboard on the wall and build/create on that, I think. l guess I will see.
@@marygatdula2744 I made mine removable. The background wall is actually a piece of wood with fabric over it that was on my husband’s old computer desk, it’s like those cork boards that you can put your notes on, I screwed it to the wall. If I ever need to remove it, I just unscrew it and it’s not stuck or glued to my table. I am also working on a full wall on the side with a lot of shelves, but I didn’t finish it. I only papier-mâchéd it and then put all my crap in it Lol. Another project waiting to be finished, I guess I can make a tutorial about that too.😁

@karakreations1103 That sounds perfect! Please definitely do those tutorials! I know I'm not the only one who would be interested!
