Exploring The Bert Cooper Trail on Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City by e bike- August 30, 2024
I’m Dave, a 64-year-old retired senior living a full-time nomadic lifestyle, exploring the USA on my 2023 Jasion EB7 2.0 Folding E-Bike. Living off Social Security and a pension, I combine house sitting and pet sitting with e-biking to discover new places every day. Join me as I journey through cities and landscapes across America, sharing my experiences and tips for nomads, e-bike enthusiasts, and fellow adventurers.
In today’s video, I’m exploring the beautiful City of Oklahoma City. With over 4000 miles traveled on my e-bike since October 3, 2023, I’ve seen many breathtaking locations, and The Bert Cooper Trail is one of Oklahoma City’s hidden gems. I’ll take you on a ride to see the city’s attractions, share insights into my e-biking journey, and explain how I make this lifestyle possible by combining travel with house sitting.

Since retiring, I’ve embraced the nomadic lifestyle, using Trusted House Sitters to house sit and pet sit across the country. This has allowed me to travel through states like Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kentucky, Wyoming, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Utah, Idaho, South Dakota, Missouri, and many more. My lightweight Jasion EB7 2.0 is perfect for this lifestyle-folding easily for transport and being durable enough for my long-distance rides.
Why the Jasion EB7 2.0 E-Bike?
As a senior traveler, I needed an e-bike that was light, foldable, and reliable. The Jasion EB7 2.0 has been my go-to for covering miles of terrain while being easy to pack away for my next adventure. With its 55 lb weight (battery removed) and compact folding design, it fits perfectly into my trunk, making it ideal for a life on the road. Since October 2023, I’ve logged over 3800 miles and worn through four back tires due to the adventurous routes I take!
