Nice video. I sure kinda miss wrenching sometimes!! Was a auto tech for 10 years before I left it to drive and fix trucks. I see the tech is insane 😮 mind you my last year working on cars was 2010. I was at a Chrysler, Dodge, jeep. Then Honda, the Toyota.
Thanks a lot ! More Tech POVs to come . I’ll be sure to fill you in on the insane tech these cars come with 👍🏽 & I always wanted to drive trucks . I avoided fixing them because of the actual size of the components lol
Cool - I am about to have the rock damaged windscreen replaced in my Polestar 2 and the smash repairs place wants to disconnect the 12v battery but Polestar says you should not need to disconnect the 12v. What does disconnecting the 12v battery do in terms of wiping data from the cars system etc ?
It’s possible the memory data will reset . Things like factory settings may change . But for a simple windshield replacement I don’t think disconnecting the 12v battery will be necessary . & Thank You for the follow 🙏🏽
My honest opinion , it’s too early to tell about reliability just yet . I personal want one myself & I would surely recommend it this be a family hauler though .
@@Buttakream I’m interested in it for once every 1 or 2 weeks trips into town for supplies/ groceries. The biggest appeal to me is its V2L capabilities as a battery bank for home & solar (with the proper solar setup). It’s cheaper than a battery bank per kWh and also functions as a car. Anyway keep up the great videos !
I own a ev9. Thanks for sharing. Apparently this battery issue is common in them. I hope mine never dies though.
No problem & yea the 12V battery isn’t great . & if you ever run into any problems , please just hit me up . A lot of funky updates coming out

@@Buttakream no worries - ps nice glasses - lol
How are these EV9s reliability wise ? Would you recommend one as a family hauler ?
