- Trent Harmon's journey from a small American Farm town to American Idol 2016. Congratulations to Trent Harmon winning the final season of American Idol, fifteen years of dreams come true. Hats off to American Idol judges Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and host Ryan Seacrest for a great final season. But wait, American Idol just scored one of its best seasons ever! Rumor has it, American Idol will be returning next year. Maybe a run off for American Idol and The Voice winners for a annual super bowl event. Best of the Best. Hmm, just thinking out loud again.
I saw him live a couple months ago and I was absolutely blown away by his vocals! He’s also so sweet and humble. I only hope he goes even farther in his career.

@@judidunham5037 Not jealous- Annie is right. In this clip, JLO looks about as hot as a human can look, but she really needed to stop talking while Trent was singing. HCJ was very politely ignoring her hoping she would stop talking.

Can’t stand JLo, but I agreed with her here. Trent really had an R&B and soulful voice, not country. That’s not saying the few times he sand country songs during the competition it was t great, but he really had a voice made for R&B. He went the country music track though after he won. I really think he could have gone really big had he gone the R&B direction.
