Junior and Senior year I lived in the Queen Street Honors Dorm but I think it's been torn down. I pledged Delta Sigma Theta in Spr. '88 and graduated from Hampton in '89. A lot of good times and crazy times, for sure! So long ago....when I was a freshman most people had typewriters to do their papers, absolutely NO one had a cell phone (a what?! haha!), a couple of girls on my floor had vcrs, and we all used the pay phones on the hall :) However, oodles of noodles (Ramen) and hot pots were very popular :) Miami Vice premiered that year and Prince's Purple Rain album was really big. Anyway, I enjoyed seeing shots of good ol' Hampton in your video---our "Home by the Sea" :)

Hey, I know partying is a small factor in choosing a school but academics is the most important factor: with that being said Hampton is great for academics, number 2 for hbcu's to be exact. Nonetheless, apply for scholarships so that you can avoid loans & be here at the real HU :)
