    I heard that could cause retinal detachment due to the vibration.

      I heard some stuff like that so I checked a few medical sites and they said it's no different than jogging or running. Its actually less jarring than running. Basically it's not going to do anymore damage than jogging. Unless someone has a preexisting condition

    I just bought a Vibration plate but as there is no user guide I have no idea on what speed to start. I can see on the video that you are doing 30 seconds for every exercise and some of them with 10 seconds rest to repete the exercise.

    *There ISN'T enough LONG-TERM research to definitively say Vibration Plates cannot harm you. But there IS research showing how continuous vibrations can HARM the body. DON'T trust advertisements or people who financially benefit from their use. Nor people who say they feel good after using them because damage can TAKE TIME to show up. Take a look at what RESEARCHERS say..because they generally agree the safety of these devices has NOT been proven and they could cause SERIOUS injuries:*

    I know this is an old video but OMG she could at least have smiled during the making of the video. She looks so miserable which is what I always think of when I think of exercise but come on fitness bunny Steph. Smile for the camera to make it look like more fun than what it really is

    Hypervibe brand is WAY superior. 10-17Gs depending on the model for a fraction of the price with full third party engineering confirmation of performance specs. Use "healthhacks" promo code at checkout for discount
    Just remember it's cheap and easy for a vibration plate company to make speed...but if you have any kind of serious Gforce behind it that is also important for benefits...that takes real engineering. Plates that also cost more than $40 to manufacture (yes you read that right) actually have durability. Ask this company for a third party verification of their specs and then compare it to Hypervibe you'll see the huge value difference.
    I review brands in this category and all kinds of health equipment/wellness technologies for the last 10 years

      Might be a bad idea. It increases lymphatic flow which can spread cancer. If you're in remission... maybe? Sometimes lymph nodes are removed for cancer treatment and this could help alleviate the swelling that would cause. I would ask your doctor.

    • @ryanh3285
      @ryanh3285 6 лет назад

      @@DeviousWeaselUK full body vibration syndrome is a serious condition in the construction industry using machines such as roller's.I can't see how this machine doesn't effect you in the same way.

    • @DeviousWeaselUK
      @DeviousWeaselUK 6 лет назад +4

      Ryan H considering people in the construction industry would be using machinery like that for a few to several hours a day, and those vibrate at a very high level, compared to the boards where they recommend you use them no longer than 10-15 minutes a day and do not vibrate at such a level, I don’t think there’s any risk of anyone using them developing WBVS.

      Ericka Nava....no, it has not. It does not “cause” retinal detachment. It is not recommended for those who have already had retinal detachment issues due to other injuries.
