I think the piano sounds are just naturally compressed, as he recorded the piano with a dictaphone at Jonny Greenwood's house. The piano sampling at the end sounds like Ableton Live's Redux and some sampling done over the first piano sample.

Those layered voices on the chorus are spectacular too. May not be the greatest song of his reptoire, but it is certainly a skilled attempt at downtempo electro.
