Me too. So much like my first wife. The way he described her weekly routine and the way he had to spend his one day off cleaning every single dish and glass. Probably had to do all the laundry too. Glad I woke up and found MY backbone!

Interesting. How someone can tell they are two weeks pregnant when 99% of women who are pregnant don’t realize it until after they missed the first menstrual cycle one month later.
I knew I was pregnant both times before a test or missed period.
2 weeks pregnant means 6 weeks since last period.

I knew at 3 weeks in but only because I was scheduled for surgery and while doing all the pre-surgery blood work and urine tests it came back positive 3 times.

That was the longest pregnancy ever as most times you dont realize until 6 weeks or so in if not longer
First story: we live on a rural acreage across from a park that was rented to a group that has an annual softball tournament, complete with camping. The noise was so bad that the police were called repeatedly and neighbours came to complain from more than a mile away, but the boom boxes and drunken screeching went on until dawn anyway.
After a lovely breakfast my spouse joined the rest of the local brass band in the park bandshell, which enjoys amplification, and played John Phillip Sousa marches for an hour and a half. They are very, very good, but went entirly unappreciated that morning.
We have a neighbor who thought it was fun and cool to shoot off big ass fireworks (so illegal at that time too) at 3 and 4 am. Middle of the week-weekends he didn't care.
So after this happened about 5 times I called the neighbors. We all lined up our cars and trucks and at 6 am just as the sun was peeking up and they and the merry band of drunken idiots had gone to sleep all over the yard/garage/house
We started blaring our car horns. About 5 minutes straight he would of course yell. We'd stop. For about 10 minutes then back to blaring car horns.
We did it in shifts of neighbors for 2 hours. Passing hot coffee back and forth and eating donuts that another neighbor went and bought just havevan early morning coffee/ beep beep/chit chat lol.
Amazingly enough this dumb ass never called the Sheriff and it only took once of our little drive in protest for him to get the hint that we would do this every time he set off fireworks at early am hours.
Now he does still set off fireworks but never after 11 now. And he will respectfully let everyone know so we can set up chairs on my side yard and watch.
But our state made them legal but only during certain times and they have also like tripled the fines with shooting them off outside of the hours permitted.
I love my 4 way stop village lol.
Heard that bagpipes in early morning are lovely.
@@Messymy I once camped in a very very isolated place in the Scottish Highlands. And was woken by.... bagpipes... The man explained that this was the only place he could practice without being told off... I moved!
Coat hook story - OP should have not only screwed that hook to the wall, he should have added a big glob of JBWeld on the back, too. Would have had to chisel out the block to get it down.

As for the Boy Scouts. I think you were too easy on the scouts to wake them with your own music, but to each his own. I think the appropriate "Reveille" would have been called for. Wake them up at "5AM", well okay they are scouts, "5:30" for the sake of the animals.

I'd have told her that I'm spending that money because I'm the only one working, meaning she's the one who has to justify any expenses. If she doesn't pay any bills, she doesn't make any rules.

Ex became and ex VERY shortly after I bought a house via a VA loan. She was like the Karen described (a leech) and thought she was going to cash in big time (a grand was a fortune to her then).
I pointed out to her she'd have to take the bills with the profits. That includes the sales tax on the sale, the realtor fees (7%) and her share of taxes and insurance. I handed her and her attorney a statement that would leave her owing around five grand, rather than seeing a profit, unless she signed off on the house.
She couldn't sign off quick enough, in her mind.

When i was employed as a cleaner, we asked for two shelves that had been built into our supplies cupboard, that had fallen down to be re-instated. After nearly nine months of going through "Official Channels", i took my power drill into work and replaced the old, split rawplugs, with longer screws and when i left, five years later they were still functional and safe. As i wasn't employed as the Handyman, i couldn't drill fresh holes anywhere, but could re-use original holes. Stuck to the underside of top shelf was the work i had done and the original works request all laminated and dated.
Limited dishes, pans and utensils to one per person in the house. I did this a few times over the years. Ohhhh family got really mad at this. I stood my ground. It takes all day just cleaning, cooking, running errands and kids around, and still cleaning, prepping for the next day and cleaning that up, long after everyone else had gone to bed. Nope. I tossed out all the extra everything, sandwiches for lunch and dinner, and started a fruit, veggie and flower garden. They had to find me outside, in my garden to ask why this or that wasn't done for them Lmbo. I would tell them very loudly that I didn't know why they hadn't done it yet, and that unless they were going to help me in the garden, leave me alone. Kids thought if they helped in the garden, they wouldn't have to clean up after themselves in the house. Nope. I did my house chores already, before going to my garden. They chose to garden first 😂.
The last story - I really want to know how much of Karen’s $2500 her lawyer took for his fees. 🤣
That story ended rather abruptly after all the details. At least I understand why there were so may words misspelled as English is probably OP's 2nd or 3rd language. I guess we can make up our own endings and include Martians and unicorns.

The mother of my twins was the exact same as the story no.3 I came home from work and had to cook dinner, do the dishes, look after the girls, but the worst was was the fact that after we split she lied and said that I was abusive when she was the abusive one
