I just wanted to beat the game. I was steamrolling every other boss I came across, but this guy. This guy.... I tried fighting on this guys level, then after dying 47 1/2 times, I found a cheesy Pugligist OTK. I normally hate resorting to this kinda thing, but I make an exception for this floating eyesore.
Oh man, same as me! I don't like how the EO games reward balanced teams through the entire game, but punishes them during in the final battle. Also steamrolled all the bosses up to this point thanks to Thunder Fist, but then this guy shows up! I'm fine memorizing the pattern of a boss to have at least a fighting chance, but giving this guy like 20 body parts, ech with their own pattern? Maaan. I assume you also ended up using that move that deals more damage the less HP your party has? I never had to use that move up to this point and still feel dirty for cheesing it.
...All this time I thought Hell Slash attacks whoever made the triggering attack, thus I thought it would just slaughter your own team more than anything...
I swear, when I saw Dark Smoke, I was fully expecting to hear "KNEEL!", then I was so disappointed when I heard "Restricting mobility." and realized I'm the only one with a haughty Graced Poisoner
Looks like a team of triple Blade Dancer Masurao, a Phantom Duelist Fencer, and a Graced Poisoner Botanist. Phantom Duelists can attack when they have dodged. Hell Slash, A Blade Dancer skill, chases after those very attacks. The Botanist's Blind Smoke reduces enemy hit rate, thus giving the Fencer more opportunities to dodge. More attacks are directed at the Fencer because she has such high health compared to everyone else. Lure causes the front line Masurao to attack after every dodge, then chase after THEIR OWN ATTACKS. The third Masurao in the back used Armour Pierce to increase damage. The Botanist has a Scythe that has a damage buff skill on it. Hoo boy. That's one nifty setup.
@@arcether269 So in short: Boss: 1million attacks Phantom Deulist: 1 Mllion dodges, 1 Million dodge chase attacks Masurao: Also 1 Million doge chase attacks, An additional Milion dodge chase attack chase attacks Everybody else: Boost damage, you don't need heals, def buffs, ailment cures, health, or really anything
forkevdo I made a new game+ file and turned the middle Therian(Fencer) into a Masurao. Then I created a guild card with that character and scanned it on the previous file to get the two Masuraos in this video.
Also why use Lure if you blocked all the damage already? Thats the only part of this I don't fully understand otherwise great work. Im just super salty!
Mubah125 Because Lure causes the Masuraos to attack after every dodged attack which then proc Sanzu hits. All the hits at the end that hit for 3k are Lure.
Yeah, I tried this and it doesn’t work like that... That’s impossible to just kill it in one go.. I tried it myself and I had no luck for hours.. I don’t know how you did it but this does not work at all..
@@xionvebb1708 He is one of the fairest superbosses in the entire series. Yeah he has Full Burst but that should really only happen once and after prrtty much any party can deal with it. With all the parts gone it judt becomes a matter of dealing with the parts which isn't too difficult.
