This is just what I needed thanks, the Transition save location in v18.1 however looks different as there's no sub directories under Templates, you now need to create the "Edit" folder and the "Transitions" folder first. You can also right click on the transition from the edit screen and "Create Transition Preset" but it doesn't have the create macro customisation on it.
So i am on Davinci 18.6 i created new folders i restarted Davinci on my other transitions showing little icon Davinci and on this transition is blank and its said Spin transition.settings inseted of Spin transition.drfx

Hi Alex I have been learning resolve for a few weeks so firstly thanks for all your videos they have been a great help.I have been editing in 4k but have some 1080p 50 frames footage to edit.Can you please advise on the settings for this format.I can get the pictures to run smooth on the timeline set at 1080 pal 50 but not in the viewer window.I have tried everything I know but its still jerky!Many thanks Peter
is it possible to have 2 pictures at one moment on the screen. i want that for example one picture comes from above into the screen and the other one from below and then they stand next to each other side by side. But for some reason when I put the original dissolve on top of the two clips, and change it to a fusion cross dissolve, the screen turns black, and when I right click and open it in fusion, it only has media 1 and media out, not showing the transition or other clip, I know this worked for other people so I'm curious what I'm doing wrong, thanks for all your help with the videos man!

Put some ice in that Rum and then it's a cold one 😆 I did this one on the PC but could have easily done it on the Mac, not sure how but it's been handling some Fusion stuff really well!

Hi Alex, thank you for this tutorial. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I am following exactly your tutorial, but I can only see one MediaIn. I dragged a transition on top of two clips, then I converted this transition into a Fusion Cross Dissolve and made a right click to open up this cross dissolve in the Fusion tab. Nodes are enabled, but I can only see one MediaIn1 and one MediaOut1. There is no MediaIn2 pointing to a CrossDissolve node. So at this point I cannot continue. I am on a Mac with DRS 17.2. Any ideas?

Is only a TRANSFORM required to spin a clip at the end of a video? I apply that noted between 4:00 and 6:45 but can’t get my clip to spin.
Hiya Justin. Yeah it's only the Transform that's required. Are all the other controls working? Just double check the node is attached properly etc
