The 8 buttons are not just for radio stations. You can program all kinds of triggers. For instance a radio channel on 1, navigation to home on 2 and a telephone number on 3. Very versatile.
You forgot to mention the most important new feature: This BMW comes with blinkers, I see! Big improvement over BMWs that are currently on the road today.
Actually, on a serious note, based on my personal experience as an ex-BMW owner: I think the radio speed dials are also shortcut to GPS locations, phone numbers and whatever else you need quick access to. And the jog dial is much easier to use than the touchscreen, once you're used to it.
Overall a good review I have got one myself and had it for five months I agree about the stop start I think it is quite intrusive I never drive in eco-mode unless I'm on the motorway I think steering wheel is good I think you gave the well-balanced overview of the car I've had mine for six months and I think it's great and enjoy every day driving I've had no problems no issues I'll switch the stop start off as soon as I get in every day lol
Thanks for watching. Personally I'm just not a fan of stop start systems - I don't think the petrol saving is worth the delay you sometimes get starting again especially when you're at a roundabout and split seconds count.
About HUD - you can tilt everything which is displayed on the windshield in the HUD settings. so.. no need to turn your head when wearing polarized sunglasses.

I should have played with them a bit more when I had the car! But yes when we had the radio on they acted as station presets.
They are programmable buttons. They are the best thing with idrive.
Thanks for posting. I’m buying one of these and looking forward to picking it up
Great to hear! You'll really enjoy it - it's a great car to drive.
pro tip : watch series on Flixzone. Been using them for watching all kinds of movies lately.
@Camden Wyatt Definitely, have been watching on flixzone for months myself :D

that's because they fill up the blinker fluid standard these days 😉😉
I got one of these yesterday, it's actually quite a good car, especially if you've had 1 too many speeding tickets and drive sensibly now.
Has all the dynamics and comfort without the overly powerful engine. Thanks for watching!

Mind blown! I was wondering why they put tilt on there - now it makes sense! Thanks for the tip.
we are getting one next week!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching.
Buttons are the best thing they can do for modern cars .... The lack of buttons is actually a safety issue.
Buttons are great, but they are rarer and rarer these days. Thanks for watching!
But thats not snapper rocks blue right?
No. It's Misano Blue Metallic.
As crass as the clueless buyers who think they are buying a genuine BMW - it's a transvestite MINI
