I like the idea with 4 chunky boys and the explosion guy power
Baumi I love watching your video always waiting for a new post. Just suggesting is that can u not open the skill tree during matches in Ability Arena because its blocking the entire early match thanks keep it up!
Fair and balanced gaming experience, gets hit by 5 heroes with 70% spell amplification.
The thing is it's not even going that far off of what you normally want to do, you normally want those big abilities and solid repeatable spells.
Selemene just makes those abilities do so much more damage.
All you have to do is make sure you have enough good options in the pool and the rest is history.
Now that Baumi posted my secret selemane strat. i am expecting a surge of selemanes in my games now
Edit: Btw did Baumi finally did his bonezone strat yet? Gaben vamp aura is poggers now.
QOP blink with slemene and astral step, is soper op
Love the vids and streams
Can we get a chaos god vid!? I sorta made it work but I’m curious on ur take.
I still struggle trying the atk speed good with summon and PA god. Did baumi ever try those?
Is arcane orb in the game? If so it would „use“ more mana than anything else no? Combined with attack speed the spell amp would be brutal
Baumi I love your cats
can we have more cat videos on youtube?
pa is the strongest (and my favorite) god in ability arena imo
not first! but best... 😎

hi
At the very beginning baumi hovered over Selemene's ability, which states
"Every time an ally hero spends mana, all your heroes gain 0.02% spell amplification. Buff resets every round"
What it DOES NOT SAY is "*For each X mana spent*". By the wording of the ability, the *amount* of mana is utterly irrelevant- only that some amount of mana was spent.
So baumi's conclusion that you want use to the opposite of J'muys strategy is flatly incorrect. Spending higher amounts of mana has no beneficial effect, and in fact bigger abilities with longer cooldowns will be far less capable of generating buff than cheap, short cooldown abilities.
I think Baumis conclusion is right, just the wording isn't done properly.
It should say "Every time an ally hero spends a point of mana"
Hm, I'm actually unsure how it works now. If we take the wording as written, then your interpretation is absolutely correct and I'm wrong. However, Selemene used to be about quantity of mana spent, which is why my assumption came in. Ability Arena sadly does not have reliable tooltips, so unless someone pays very close attention or tests it, I don't think we can know how it works for sure.
you can literally see necro get 1.6% spell amp off of a single heavenly grace cast less than a minute and a half into the vid
Bruh.. baumi conclusion is correct because of practical results.. tooltip is wrong lol
This is haunting me, so let's actually do the math.
Let's assume we have 5 heroes, each spamming 4 abilities that use mana once a second. That's 20 instances of mana spent per second.
20*0.02% = 0.4% spell amp per second. If we assume the fight lasts 30s, we would end up with a total of 12% spell amp.
As we can see in the video, I reach above 70% spell amp. If we assume that tooltip is correct, which I think we can since it lines up with the feeling of how much damage we deal, then clearly the assumption of 0.02% spell amp whenever mana is spent is incorrect-especially when considering that we don't actually spam 20 spells a second. Clearly, another factor plays into it and I think it's fair to assume that mana quantity makes sense here.
