      RX power is very low at receiver due to fiber attenuation . When low power converting to dB its value comes negative.

    Sir 1 question.
    Mera 100mbps ka plan he,
    and muje 18 hours to 100+ speed milti he download/upload
    but
    Daytime me 1pm to 5pm muje 15-20mbps speed daily dekhne ko milti he
    Kiya iska relation rx power se he?
    Ya yeh daily sabke sath hota he?
    Agar iska relation rx powr se he to evening me automatic kaise sahi ho jata he ? Please explain

    Can anyone tell how much fusions splicing lose.. Some Tech says its 0.01 to 0.05 and some say its 0.1 to 0.5 ..
    Also what is mechanical splice lose..?

      0.02 dB for single mode fiber, 0.01 dB for multi-mode fiber, and 0.05 dB for dispersion-shifted fiber and 0.01 to 0.02 dB more in ordinary field conditions.
      So range is .01 to .05 dB. #dwdmotn #NortelTN #Ciena32slot
