Not one person was held accountable for this. And 10 years later...nothing.
Do you like it a lot?
This is beyond awful
It was more than just lead.
The issue is not fixed because in the eyes of the government the people that live in that neighborhood has never been important. If this would have happened in Beverly hills it would have been fixed, if this will happen in silicon valley it would have been fixed. A mostly black neighborhood who cares
It would have never happened there to begin with. This would never happen in any of the counties and cities I have homes in either. INSANE.
What's crazy is there are white people in Flint too. They're always willing to sacrifice a few of their own I guess
"Racial distribution of Flint population: 35.25% are white, 56.30% are Black or African American, 0.46% are American Indian and Alaska Native, 0.52% are Asian, 0.04% are Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander, 0.90% are some other race and 6.52% are multiracial"
The government is voted for by the people. They should have voted better.
She said how is it still going on 10 years later and dude says “it doesn’t happen over night”
More like it doesn't happen in a decade
I so glad he got an answer before his death. There are some loved ones we can’t bury or don’t have answers for.
I keep telling you Americans, test, your, water.
Studies have shown. Micro plastic in water bottles 👍
This ain’t a problem in cities without lead pipes, and flint was an industrial city known for steel and vehicle manufacturing so the place was already pretty polluted to begin with.
How much money would solve this problem? And how come no aid package was sent to Flint.
Ukraine
Flint received PLENTY of $$$ in for forms of State and Federal dollars, and private dollars. Your question should be: In whose pocket did these MILLIONS end up?
The City of Flint is terrible. I’ve been calling Fast start program the past few weeks leaving voicemails for them to call me back about piping.
As a person in the profession, it absolutely makes no sense that there are little details available about the boots on the ground efforts related to the switching of a source for a water plant. You'd have to have sheer incompetence at a water treatment plant to switch a source and not do the minimum effort of pilot testing the new source to determine the type of treatment needed. You can blame all the high-end officials you want, but if that were my plant and there was a source change, you can bet there would've been a trail a mile long documenting the need to change the treatment based on a more corrosive source water.
This was all done to save money, and yet it ended up costing more and destroying countless lives. This is wicked.
Guys its okay Israel is getting help 🤷
Honestly just shut up and stop putting foreign politics in everything Israel doesn't get that much from America in GDP
@@LockOnInc Right it was Ukraine then Israel took the spotlight.
Jews after Jews... Where is "the people"
@@LockOnIncHa ha , I bet flint would get fixed faster with this money tho
I remember this ❤❤
River Water???? Oh Wow
And we still had/have to pay our water bills. The city of Flint will not make payment arrangements at all. You don't pay it gets shut off and then you have to pay a lot more to get it turned back on! And most of us still are paying for bottled water as well! I don't even let my dogs drink it, we just had a boil water notice a couple months ago! 💰💦
Anyone else feel like they don't care?
This is awful!
Really wish Eric Mayes was still with us, he’d tell it like it is.
But the money go to ukraine, Israel and taichi
Corruption
Look up Centrailia , PA. The government moved the entire population out of town.
Shout out to every single black man and women who got out of flint prior to this. God loves you. I think this was 'By design' as it didnt happen when flint had a bustling y-t population.
As far as the settlement they JUST keep sending us MORE and MORE paperwork to fill out. 💰 💦
How Dayne Walling has managed to stay under the radar is simply amazing.
CAN WE GET THEM SOME WATER? PLEASE?
Why has this not been pirioritised?!
I thought Obama fixed it
😅😂😅
Yeah America is here to help. Hooray 🎇
Sounds like the mayor is passing the buck.
they just poisoned them foos, like what?
Im confused why their just taking their good ol time for everything like this should be handled today. Not paying out settlement money cause you don’t know how much to give should of been handled in week or so if it was important smh
Why don't they just melt all the Michigan snow into water then purify it
Didn’t Barack Obama promise to have the issue with Flint’s water resolved before he left office? 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏽♀️
“Most Terrifying Words - ‘I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.’” - Ronald Reagan
I thought Obama went to Flynt, Michigan, and fixed the issue.
Yeah, that is lip service by politicians. They used Flint to push their agenda.
Let's get tropical
DEMOCRAT TOWN
But they gun owners 😂
They should've voted for a more competent city government.
That's what you get when you vote blindly.
Your part of the problem . Slight of hand like always
