Awesome video. I use After Effects with the Mocha plug-in, but I see the value of the automated labeling and the other bonus features this software has for out of the box motion tracking.
You can get your parcel or any parcel from most city databases. Many times they have a copy of your basic house plan. Now, to virtually superimpose that over a map. Perfect for your job. I could do this for my school. Was asked to identify exit routes from the school and property.

Oh man this is such a sweet tool and a tutorial 👍 Haven’t done any real estate shots yet but good to know I have this available when I need it.
Great that you can finally do area tracking with MTracker, but they're sort of taking the piss making it an additional purchase to MTracker 3D. At $400 for MTracker 3D - you'd think they'd give it to exisiting customers?! I personally refuse to pay extra for something that should be included in the main plug in. You can do it for free in After Effects!
Thanks for the vid man. Now quick question regarding importing to FCPX only for this - how do you export from DaVinci (or premiere pro) in order not to lose quality when importing back, h.265, or ProRes 422 or something else? I want to cut and grade my s-log footage in DaVinci and then export some clips to FCPX for speed ramping and area tracking and then move them back in resolve, just not sure what's the best way to do it.

I don't own Final Cut cause I don't use Mac. I still use my broken down 12 yr old stand alone software Adobe CS6 for PC. Nice plug-in if you have the right system though.
This makes it almost too easy! Wonderfully intuitive.
Sure it needs the area 3D so comes out to about $400, but it makes it so east to add that overlay, and make your videos just that much better. I would just add that as a standard to all videos since it takes only a few minutes.
This software is too glitchy! I've noticed making a lot of adjustments moving the lines around leads to inconsistent software. Frustrating AF!
Nice plug-in however its way over priced. At $190 its two thirds the price of Final Cut Pro which costs $300.
Your wrong. Its not overpriced. Tracking software usually costs a lot more than 300$. This is worth every penny. Saves a lot of time.

Great video, Ken. I just bought this one but haven't had the chance to use it on a job yet. I really like the MotionVFX plugins. They are expensive, but save me so much time, and also add a lot of production value. I bought their mReal Estate plugin and am planning to use that for an AirBnB project in a few weeks.
The short-term rental/AirBnB market is very visually/social media-oriented, so videos make an even big difference for those owners. I am not a great editor and plugins like that are keeping me in the game.

At what point does this become "surveying". I know you're not surveying, but I've read news stories about real estate drone photographers getting in trouble for this. The local surveyors were getting mad when the photographer started showing property lines and claimed the photographer was surveying properties without a license.
We’re not making measurements, no bi laws that prevent it. Agent has disclaimers. Surveyors provide the GIS info. Surveyors can get mad all they want not shit they can do in Florida

Went to order the plugin today and, unless I'm mistaken, it's only available for a monthly or annual fee now ($39/mo or $348/annually). Can't find a BUY NOW button on their site. Only a 14 DAY TRIAL button. I emailed their customer service chat and will let you know what I find out. 😕

A-Roll shot looks great. Great video, that company has some really cool plug-ins. Why do you edit the rest of the video in Premiere vs editing the whole video in Final Cut? Or, does premiere have other features you use for the rest of the edit and workflow? Just curious, happy Friday.
For me I like using Premier Pro because I feel like it is more organized and I can have bins with folders and adjustment layers that make sense. There’s also certain tools that just aren’t available in Final Cut Pro that sometimes hinder my workflow

Outrageously expensive bundle + subscription model = I don’t care out good it is, I ain’t getting it. This is only for professionals. Somebody else will come out with a similar product that is cheaper and not subscription based in the near future. I shall wait.
