- Tim and Armand are back with another episode of The 1916 Company Podcast where they're answering listener questions including one about what their ultimate watch collection would be if they could choose anything. Then they turn to the main topic of the show which is what watches they believe collectors should be looking at before they go up in value as more and more people recognize their significance.

It would sure be nice to see photos of the watches being discussed
A photo of the watch you are talking about would really help those watching on RUclips.
We are left not knowing which watch you're talking about, especially if it's an obscure reference.
It's not much work, but would improve the podcast so much

Thanks for answering my question! Great 5 picks ! I would personally go with a Milsub, a cloisonné Patek with Mount Fuji dial, a 1st gen datograph with platinum beads of rice bracelet, the grey MB&F x H. Moser endeavour tourbillon cylindrique and a VC oversea dual time Everest (Cory Richard's one of course).
Thanks for submitting! Always feel free to send questions to podcasts@the1916company.com and hopefully we can answer more on future episodes!

Hey Tim,
Wonderful podcast.
Some very relevant topics discussed.
1. Love the comments about how preowned going for a fraction of MSRP hurts the brand image. I am going to share this podcast with my GP FB group. GP Management need to listen this this as well.
2. I notice the term “vintage”’ is used rather interchangeably with NEO-vintage. Not by you but by some of the guests.
I’m hoping to help folks get clarity on what is NEO-vintage and why it’s such a collectible period across the multiple brands.
Anyway, thanks for your terrific content.
Best wishes from Singapore 🇸🇬

Awesome podcast!!! Would you only consider the first two iterations of the freak to be future classics, or would you also consider the Diavolo? I was just wondering where the cut off point in freak history is:) I really want the Diavolo, but you guys are swaying me towards an earlier model.
Thanks
Great episode! Love the new podcast!
This podcast is absolutely fantastic. The additional level of detail and candidness is really appreciated. Tim, your level of horological knowledge is challenged by none.
Great podcast guys
Great to hear the podcast back again. 👌🏾
Yes…Yes….Yes….more of this! Well done!
Great timing!!
