The original was awesome but this remake was as good as it. The new added lyrics have done a great job. And the composing is also good. And last of all Darshan's voice totally complemented the song.

Bro also the remake of the song 'Koi fariyaad' (also known as 'Jaagte jaagte ek umr') used in the movie 'Tum bin 2' was very beautiful, it's original was sung in the movie 'Tum bin'. The composition, instruments used & the lyrics of the remake were very beautiful and gave the same vibe as the original one hence did complete justice to the original. The original was sung by the legendary Jagjit Singh & the remake had the same voice of Jagjit Singh blended with the beautiful voice of Rekha Bhardwaj.
U r right bro... The song "Teri fariyad" was one of the best remake... And the best part was they didn't replace Jagjit Singh's voice... TBH "Tum Bin 2" was such a good musical album just like the old one...

@SANGEETARIST start listening to more of Shreya Ghoshal's songs, then you will realize how different she is from the rest and how brilliantly she sings....RE remake, apart from Tum Bin (brilliantly sung and everything) listen to Humein Tumse Pyaar Kitna and Humein Tumse Pyaar Kitna (Thumri version)....both of them are out of the world...Composition is intact, singing is intact (a bit more feel) and then modern music....toooo goooood. Let me know how much you liked it.

'Iss qadar pyaar hai' from the movie Bhaag Jhonny is also a good remake by Arko. The original one by Sonu Nigam, is no doubt very beautiful and it will always have that nostalgia factor attached to it, but the new one too, has its own charm and it sounds very fresh.

My all time fav remake is "Dil Kya Kare" by Instant Karma, dare I say much better than original, never again and never will we have such great remakes, especially when Shaan croons "daud raha hai saath lahu ke, pyaar tera nas nas mein", I get goosebumps. All future greats were associated with Instant Karma. Infact whole Dance Masti album was great. Great childhood memories of channel V and MTV ❤️

It is one of the best remixes ever made i must say. But saying that much better than original is pathetic. Original is original always. They create it from scratch, put their soul to their creation, and it takes alot labor for a song to become an all time classic.
