The entire sequence starting with Coop trying to console Murph, him walking out the door, her chasing after him, the launch sequence starting in the background with the music swelling, Coop looking under the blanket in his truck hoping morph would be there and culminating with the launch of the craft is possibly one of the most beautiful sequence in any movie I have ever seen.

I understand the initial reaction that the movie doesn't need to be this long, i thought so to the first time. After watching it multiple times it becomes clear that it is necessary to build the characters. Especially the relationship between Murph and Cooper and laying down the foundation and the importance of the mission. if they did that quickly the movie just wouldn't be so emotionally hitting. Nolan's movies are long but so worth it in my opinion. Also the music in this movie takes it to another level, Hans Zimmer wrote it without a script, Nolan only told him it's about the relationshiop between a son and his father (yes, not a daughter). Hans Zimmer has a son and worte this masterpiece thinking about him. Great reaction, glad i found your channel :) Also,

But more surprised when I was only halfway through and had to step away for a second. I was like HOW?! So much has happened?! And still an hour+ left. It felt so long in the line, but justifies. The trip here is, the first nightmare he wakes up from, is something that he actually already did!😮😮😮. I put this up there with Arrival. Also strange that Murph and Matt Damon also both in, The Martian! If u dont tear up in this movie, u have no heart!also type in here, strangers play Interstellar on piano in public!!
George Clooney actually did 2 space movies in the past ten years that were excellent. Gravity and Midnight Sky! Type in here, strangers in public playing Interstellar on piano! And let's not forget, his brother writes most of his movies! My favorite is still their first big studio film, Memento! A total mindf.ck! Isn't it amazing? We know how gravity works, but we have no idea what it is, what makes it up, how it's multiplied? How to replicate it? It's like volts. We can define volts as in, work that is being done....and that's it.

Physics teacher here, hah ha I guess it's true you can hardly call it the space we know if you come to the center of an infinite space-time curve. Who can say what is to be found outside of our universe? Or even the medium we would find ourselves within ;). Given we would be exiting the contingent reality we know it would have to be more real (less restricted reality capable of fulfilling what is needed for our contingent reality to exist). I love that the most real thing Cooper was linked to is what he found himself in, pure genius, that is the nearest place/link of Love (the bond of love with his daughter, albeit through her bookshelf). Real & Excellent reaction, all the best and cheers to you

The ending is a bit ambiguous on how differently time has passed between Cooper and Brand since he fell into a black hole and from physics point of view Cooper should be at the end of Universe's lifespan, but clues in the movie suggest that some futuristic human civilization, which developed from Brand's Plan B and organized all these 5D chess actions for Cooper, have thrown him out of black hole some time such his daughter is still alive. My assumption that this is Brand's current time, so if the wormhole still exists, Cooper could travel to Wolf Edmunds planet and meet her relatively young.

Cooper takes a Ranger (hopefully not a museum piece) to the nearby wormhole back to Gargantua's planets and direct to where Brand is.
Only as long as the journey at the start, less long, as the trip TO the wormhole takes only hours.
What I want to know, is did TARS make common cause with the 5D future humans?
When he got into contact with Cooper inside the Tesseract, I imagined them standing at his shoulder and going 'shhh' to him when he wanted to tell Coop what he'd found.
I mean, what if the 5D future folks are actually TARS's kids?

The first bit on Earth is set in the 2070's after a global famine, thanks to the crop blight, triggered a world war, which then ended because people realized NO ONE was safe from this and no one had food, so they tried to get the most out of what was left. The dust storms happened as a result of mass die-offs of crops; without the root systems to hold the topsoil in place, it dried out and was blown about by the wind, just like what happened in the '30's in the US (except then it was because the prairie grasses were ripped up to make way for farms).
A tesseract is a 4th-dimensional construct, also called a hypercube, which allows us to represent time as a physical dimension alongside the other 3 (length/width/depth). The future humans were able to use their mastery of gravity to create one in the black hole to allow Cooper to communicate across time physically.
The ships at the end are called O'Neill cylinders, and are one of the few viable methods of long term spaceflight that we have devised. The interior surface is where the living spaces are set, and the whole thing is rotated at a velocity high enough to simulate 1g on that surface. The engines would be set on one end of the cylinder, with the airlock on the other end leading to the central corridor of the ship where microgravity holds sway, and then any supplies or personnel would be transported to the interior surface with steadily increasing gravity via elevators.

@@KaonashiSen this movie has a lot scientists go on set to discuss how all the science works. Even Neil degrasse Tyson said all the way up to the black hole is completely possible. Same with Dr. Steven Greer. I’m going to listen to credited legit scientist over Chris Hadfield. Who isn’t even a real scientist lol. He’s a pilot and has spent more time studying how to fly than studying cosmology. They probably put him on vanity cause he was cheap and only spent like 6months in the space program in the 90s

I really double dare you to do a reaction to a Terry Giliam (?? Sorry for spelling) called "the fisher king" (1990?). It's brilliant and a bit of an underground classic. Very few reactions to it on RUclips.
Most reactors a bit thick/predictable etc etc (and fake. They will not react to things that might REALLY show their genuine feelings. Everyone cries at shindlers list - this is of course understandable. But they won't do something like the elephant man. You are not thick. And seem a genuine girl).

I admit this is a sad movie, but I feel like a lot of these first-time Interstellar reactions are intentionally trying to be melodramatic. No offense at all. It's just something that I picked up on.

Interstellar is a good movie but soooo many mistakes about Gargantua... As a supermassive black hole, all the crew from cooper should be swallowed by it with the event horizon or be literally burned by the accretion disk (2 million Celsius degrees... Sun is 1,5 °C). And not forget the spaghettification after diving inside the gravitational singularity... Well Hollywood is a good money factory 😅💪👍
