I was getting 13 mpg immediately after the replacement was get 20 mpg . This is a great fix if you're getting bad mpg check your O2 sensors and codes . This is 3.5l v6 the same engine in many other Nissan .
Thank you for showing how to do this. We have a 2009 Quest. I will probably never buy a Nissan again, especially not with a V6 engine. We've had so many problems with our Quest starting when it was only 3 years old. Thanks again!
You're welcome! Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback.
Mad respect for you sir 👊 working the camera and showing all working steps thank this video is 💯 useful
Thank you very much for the great feedback and thank you for watching
I give you credit for the way you did it I just did mine this wknd I ended up taking off the upper intake manifold then it was easy to get to.
Bank 1? Ohh sht. What a pain in the ass. I'm about to do my bank 2 sensors (front and under) I'm not looking forward to do my coil packs though (all) 😵
Thanks for watching.
Last summer I had the upper intake off to replace the rear valve cover wish I would have changes the o2 sensor then everything on these Van's is a pain to work on.
That is for sure . A seemingly simple job becomes a whole ordeal when trying to replace certain parts on these. Thank you for the feedback and thanks for watching.
Thank you for the video. I have been needing to replace that very sensor on my wife's quest. I agree, awesome job video and showing what you were doing. I noticed when you cranked it up it has a loud clicking noise. Mine sounds exactly like that. Is that normal? Thanks again for the video.
I think its common possibly something with the vvt or chain. I've read using synthetic or possibly switching to a heavier weight oil could help dampen the noise . Thanks for watching
thank for right information video ,..really useful,...
Glad the video could help ; thank you for the great feedback.
Excellent, tks for this video.
Thank you for the kind words and thanks for watching.
I was given this van for free and I might just sell it, its a pain to work on simple tasks.
i have 04 quest , and they're pain in the rear to work on,
I will second that , seems everything is way to cramped just for starters. I dont really like having to go through the relearn process for a simple part change as well . Thanks for watching
Hi, I have a 2007 Nissan Quest Flagging an O2 Sensor. Per Autozone the Part Number is 17264. They Say its the upstream sensor but how do I determine if its the Bank 1 or Bank 2? That makes a huge difference. I also have a Part Number 15521 flagging which Autozone says its a downstream sensor. Again, how do I know if its bank 1 or bank 2. They wont say..... Thanks in Advance!
I would check with them or another part store as they should have told you which bank it was. Usually when the code pulls up the first thing it will have is which bank 1 or 2 and whether its sensor 1 ( upstream) or sensor 2 (downstream). Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
@@s33therfan thanks!
Did your mileage get any better after replacing the o2 sensor?
It helped some but it seemed like it was not a big difference . I know in some cases it can help quite a bit . Thanks for watching.
s33therfan thanks for quick reply,
What’s sz is the oxygen sensor
Mine was 7/8 or 22mm . Thanks for watching
