I have a story about the fighting pits. I had a boy named Turok the Poisoner, and I buffed him up with every upgrade possible. I then sent him to infiltrate a Warchiefs, but first, he had to come here. The whole fight, he just stood there, taunting the crowd and not fighting. This is a true story, and a PSA to make the AI in the pits better and less bullshit.

It's funny when they cheat death after falling in the ring, my singing bard Ork decided to surprise me while I was fighting another captain...but he also announced he was betraying me. Needless to say I beat him down and put him back in the arena.

Yeah he's right you gotta search through and find the strongest orcs. Spam fight pits and replace the loser with the winner till you get a monster. At level 45 my team are well capable of taking level 70 foughts, and my body guard has helped me beat multiple level 80s, while facing there overlord.

Easy tips for get a powerful olog
1:send any olog you dont like or the noob one to the pit
2:if the olog you send is die you can kill or reqruit that champion :)
A little upsetting your Undead Olog died 😕 he was enraged but he’d swing 2 times, when the second one missed he’d back up and by then Death bone got at least 2 hits in. He would’ve won if it wasn’t cause of stupid game logic.
Fight puts are so bugged it's stupid, I lost so many orcs cuz they just don't wanna attack.

Ologs in pit fights are really dumb, besides taking 2 years to bloody attack, just walking around the pit, they just try grabbing the enemy half the time. The other half they're doing that ground pound attack

I did have this one overlord, his name was Grisha, he was a level 80 Fiery Feral Savage type. he did a lot of damage except his health sucked

One of my first Orcs was the Unashamed, he had decoys, poison axes, with a boost to poison. Damn AI is what got him killed

What is that glowing effect on the first fight olog? I know the olog is poisoned but it almost looks like the healing effect he is doing is draining hes hp for the first few sec before restoring it. It´s that or the ticking poison dmg is somehow increasing in dmg.
I use to get a lot of tainters but I kept doing champion fight pits to get actual fighters

my Overlord Ar-Henok, level 80 Fiery Feral Beastmaster Legendary Olog. is pretty good, We've fought with eachother for ages, years actually. he doesnt have any weaknesses aside "can be pinned" and plus is almost enraged by everything, havn't lost many battles with him

I made Bruz the legendary overlord of my fort in Nurnen. So anyone who tries to take my fort will be met with Bruce telling them "I didn't even want the fort! Just take the bloody fort!"
When I do this I keep losing because my captain never fights the other captain its stupid and when it says I will receive 1500 mirian and defeat the captain it doesn't give me it

Its a one-time payment. You don't get it every fight. You have to go to the new area and unlock the pits to get the bonus again.

Even now, pit fights in this game are completely broken. Only thing remotely worth bringing are berserkers if they are enraged by everything, so that they actually attack, everything else just keeps spamming some stupid attack that does no damage. It's like A.I for pit fights are almost non-existent...
Playing in 2022 and I agree. Unfortunately I think this is a leftover product of design from before they removed the market place from the game. I have no doubt this was originally an intentional design choice. The more likelihood of players losing orcs in a pit fight the more they may become “enticed” to buy orcs via the marketplace for a quick replacement.
Why they never fixed this AI is beyond me when they improved nearly every other aspect of this game post release up to and including complete removal of the marketplace.
I think the fight mechanics needs tuning. Too many missed hits and stalls during battles. It takes away from how great the pit battles can be.
Subtitles are wrong, Grom actually says "it's thyme", that advanced class is known to enjoy a good spicing.
I'm always fighting level 62 uruks in online pit fights. How that happen?
After they beat you it will say level 62. It was level 60 before they defeated you.
Finally! Buth made Bruz stop it! Stop! Stop it! No more hearing about forts! =P My only gripe with the Online systen, is that you can have Epic or Legendary fight normal Overlords too. If the point is to become Legendary, then I feel like it should only be Normal v Normal, Epic v Epic and Legend v Legend. Just for stats and stuff. Minor gripe. Also, you got robbed in that Az-laar fight!

In my opinion the fight pits in this game are very flawed. The system just can’t seem to balance anything one minute your Uruk is constantly taunting or he’s doing something ridiculous that gets him killed. You know what I mean if you play this game. It’s just a but of shit

That's dumb though, you have to risk your Uruks and for what? When they die in the multiplayer match, they die in the single-player game. Monolith has to fix this, for the sake of poor Uruk lives.

Ive lost so many good ologs bc the hits don't wanna connect even tho they're right in front of them. Also, I've lost a legendary uruk bc he wants to stand around and not even attack, just stand there and shake his head while he's being attacked. Like what the fuck is that
