That missed dynamic duo would have been absolutely massive.
Yea board full of quils at the time. And no poison so perfect game for a huge taunt
+14/14 for just the first round, and it would have gone absolutely nuts once the extra Chargla came into play. With Amalgadons and Boars the scaling even carries on into the lategame... probably not as ridiculous as the Trickster ended up being though, and probably barely able to compete with the crazy elementals, but we'll never know.
the REAL question here in my opinion is: What do you feel - with that elemental board - losing to a TRICKSTER build without beasts and murlocs in xD

Kripp skipping duo on that first turn after hero powering charlga gave me an aneurysm
I'm sorry for your loss.
12:03 Kripp positions the quilboars to get max value if he moves gems off one and keeps the other. In doing so he follows the classic rule: banana for scale.
That near 33% possible win rate at the end kinda looks like it was 1/3 for the Imp to get hit first
Also opponents huge poison unit died to Krip's small poison Amalgadon
@@onursenduran961 yah but that was almost guaranteed, like over 90%. Kripp would have to lose 1/2, 1/3, and 1/2. Attacks second, wildfire hits first amalgadon, which hits the rock.
I was the elemental player here, thought I had it in the bag but it was a fun fight at the end against a pretty cool build - GG Kripp!
I've done the trickster taracgosa build. Hearing kripp say he hasn't been able to pull it off gave me a tiny feeling of accomplishment
He just needed any of the tarecgosas and he would have been fine
thats one fighty little spore at 22:21
I disagree with Reno being bad with these builds. Yes he's mostly good when you get a build defining card early, although you can still win with HPing a tempo card just to get your build going, or avenge cards lul. But you can def play pirates beasts and mechs as Reno and be really well off at it. With pirates a golden Hoggar goes a long way for APM and you have an easier time to do it with Reno (no tony proc needed). With beasts and mech the trick is to golden your baron and not your other minions.
Makes you wonder where he’s going to be at with his buddy. I think the avenge cards with his buddy are going to be the reno meta to survive
Hi just a random question,
What is the favorite music of the people that watch Kripp?
On turn 15 I thought: don't worry about the boar... felbat has eaten the worst statted minions every turn, so it's safe.
And I was right 😆
Feltroll strikes again! 🤣🤣
Damn, I really thought Kripp botched that game but he pulled through in the end. Not bad 👍
Daily check in to see what build I try next. Great videos
I really would have started grabbing the Selfless Heroes pretty early. That start was definitely strong enough to float two cards in hand for a strong final round advantage.
Did the trickster voljin build, it is nice af.
Honestly he sold spore and passed baron 3 times… he’s lucky he won
Passed another spore as well. Insane and don’t know what he was even rolling for in the end
he is always lucky and show those game plays...and also he skips bad hero which griefs other 7 players by damage cap removal...i dont like this kind of mentality he is just a bully streamer who fears to go high mmr as he will get bullied...
Awesome video!
Can someone explain to me the idea of buying the 1-2 quilboar on turn 1. Seen many streamers doing this but wouldn’t it be more optimal to aim for the 2-2 reborn taunt,3-1 deathrattle pirate or the 1-1 demon with deathrattle?
It's kind of a matter of preference, but as Kripp said Reno is good with quilboar and not really with demons or pirates (which have their own card that makes minions gold), so he might have just made the decision to start investing in blood gems. Additionally, without beasts or murlocs the quilboar is the only early economy unit other than sellemental.
1-2 is basicly 3-4 max stats cuz of the blood gems.
It depends on if you're trying to go for maximum stats right away or longer term. If you level on turn 2, then you'll likely sell what you bought turn 1 on turn 3 so the stats only matter for two turns when damage is guaranteed to be low. So instead of having better fights for two less important turns, he's choosing to buy something that will give him stats for the longer term through the blood gems.
You can buy two minons on 5 gold turn, and by selling 1/2 quilboar you get a little value with bloodgems. With reborn, pirate or demon dr you would need to roll twice and buy one or sell 1 drop and buy 2 minions, but in that case you wouldn't get that extra value like with the blood gem guy.
It's kinda similar to buying a token card.
I feel like attempting to triple the fellbat before that final turn would have been the play since it showed up early enough. Chances of finding 2 barons after that with enough gold to buy them was basically nil.
Great video. Loved the slugfest!
why does he keep the trickster so late in the attack order? he already has a taunt in the middle of his other minions so it cant be for cleave
Not getting the duo.. Also not buying a baron while having a golden charlga and a golden trickster and boar. Holy shit it's getting really frustrating to watch Kripp.
Edit: Also keeping the bannerboar over a second charlga before the discovery... Or not getting his beloved lightfang instead of the bannerboar. Holy shit man..
Best video in a long time.
Wow, i'm early, without even notifications!
Ganz toll!
You're not wrong about Murlocs with Reno just being ok, HOWEVER I would like to point out my first perfect game in BGs was a Reno Murloc game with golden Brann. Then again, one could still adapt Murlocs and get DS/poison very easily back then
True hero boys.
I think Reno is good with pirates. You can make Hogger golden and play apm pirates
Not if you are a vegan boomer with a carpal tunnel.

Why didn't crip notice that by having the amalgadon with Divine Shield it prevented the demon from dying giving its health to all the other minions like I don't know man...
Edit.
By amalgadon I mean the first one that he left on his board which actually cost him I think two or three games because it ate two attacks that would have killed the the demon and then there was nothing left to give health to since everything else died.
Truly, a little Imp, that could...
Geezus christ the cryptobros need to stfu about NFTs.
the annoying NFT cryptobros in your chat need to see the See Also in the Wikipedia page for NFTs
You do real size he plays at a 6k mmr right?
Hi Kripp, would you ever stream or create PoE content again?
imagine a game you cant compete without an addon :) Good job tho Kripp
That add on provides zero advantage. It simply gives you the fun (or the frustration) of knowing your percentages.
Imagine losing with that elemental board, when murlocs are banned xd
Maxxena with reborn can be cheeky if you position them away from the wildfire
@@Kirby950 beasts also banned^^
@@Kushy_McKush I never said I was an attentive being
Hahaha what a great plug on North VPN lol
Trickster is a good card, one of the few tier 1 minions that you can really commit on, maybe the best to commit on.
Ehhh I'd say Chromawing is better in this regard, and that needs less resources invested into it to still have a pretty hefty impact for a while
@@Amaling The health is more important in the long run. High damage and low health basically makes the minion nothing more than a poison minion. In that situation, you might as well take the poison, drastically less investment to achieve the same results. High damage can be useful, but if it has low health, it's just going to die before it uses that high damage effectively. I'd rather have a minion with 30 damage and 800 health than a minion with 800 damage and 30 health.
@@Hellbane224 Both unbalanced stats are equally bad. 30/800 will usually die to and not kill a t12 poison murloc and eat massive shit to any posion+ds combo. BG is actually pretty well balanced that way. The only thing that's broken is any kind of in-combat generation that scales exponentially. So pirate scam, leapfogger, secret guy with chadgar and a taunted mecherel, etc.
@@sacwingedbatsatadbitsad4346 Poison is a countering mechanic. And I never said higher health beats poison. A minion with lower attack and higher health is just better broadly speaking than a minion with high attack and low health, and a minion with both high attack and high health beats them both, as does poison. If attack was king, Saurfang would be a decent hero. He is not.
@@Hellbane224 And if health was king, piramad would be a decent hero. They're about equally suboptimal.
Does Kripp ever play Arena anymore?
Dang.. you are still streaming.. noticed you like back in 2011 and still playing the same game! kudos man
Not super early but here to skipperino the kripperino
oooof coooourse he fucking skipped a dynamic duo and a baron at the fucking first half of the game. And the confidence he has when chat tells him he should do it lmao. For a dude that complains about RNG so much, Kripp has insane luck, he wins DESPITE his ability.
he underestimates hogger lol its the best win condition period.
Holy smokes
NFTs are a scam. Good on ya kripp
You know that Kripp crossed the young generation line when he as a digital guy, is skeptic and overrun by the crypto future.
I guess he's a content creator for the old generation now.
Time flies.
I want a all-voljin mode
Creperian here
He did it finally.....kind of...
baron and spore was 100% better than what he kept
imp-ressive.
lol I wished I was that good in battlefield.
I still think i shouldve caught the dub 😪
Yes
This was not very well played after the early game
Why didn't he get that trickster dying last is a bad idea? Also, how is this his biggest trickster? Every player's biggest trickster has millions of hp because of one successful Voljin game.
He's never successfully voljin'd yet
Kripp sucks at the Vol'Jin Tarecgosa build so bad his biggest Trickster is on Reno
Man, just made my biggest trickster - 16/11106. Feels great

Enjoy the video, everyone!
why is this krip dude always lucky. i want to be to best skilled player. why is this fuck9ing shit game always luck based. come on dude pay me what they pay you. i want to play for fun. i dont care about your money at all

The high rolling is killing bgs. There needs to be a gated implementation so you can’t go to tier 5 before turn 10
Well good news the new Buddy patch is raising the cost of tavern 5 to 11 gold to start.
What? Dont you enjoy playing against shudderwock who levels to tier 5 and gets 4 tier 6 cards from alleycat and tidehunter?
In what way would that help? All that does is make it so games are always almost over before you can get any of the cards that really define builds. There are plenty of tech cards in the general BGs pool that if players had enough time, they could at least build around someone high rolling and have a good chance of taking the win. Therefore, imo, the problem isn't with the power level of the players, it's that the damage system, even with the damage cap and armor system (which they're getting rid of btw), is far too fast. Loyal points out that a change to the cost to level to T5 is coming with the Buddy system, and I honestly think this is a huge mistake on Blizzard's part unless their sole motive is to make games go by as fast as possible so they can appeal to more people looking for a game to play while they take a 10 minute bathroom break at work.
