Soundtrack from the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Shattered Mirror" accompanying the Defiant's battle against Worf's Negh'var cruiser. Composed by Dennis McCarthy.
Now there's much more immersion, since there is comic series about ripped Picard and pirate-looking Riker keeping alive the last remnants of Terran Empire. Data is killing so many Cardassians and Barclay is efficient and ruthless officer.
And who said music in Rick Berman's Star Trek was bland. Dennis McCarthy-LIGHT YEARS ahead of Ron Jones and that punk Jeff Russo. At least Ron's music sounds like a Jerry Goldsmith rip-off, unlike Russo's brutish Hans Zimmer inspired CRAP.
Sounds like they were going to run with cool guitars in the mirror universe, makes sense as it's a lot more aggressive
Definitely fits the aesthetic of the Terrans of that era as well. And I absolutely love it. Wish we'd gotten to hear it in the episode.
"Ah pattern suicide"
Laugh Out Loud!
XD
"Shields down to 25 percent! One more hit could finish us!"
Then let's make sure we don't get hit!
Warp at light speed then to no one has gone before
"Then Let's make sure they don't get that hit"
Need more of this ds9 music set. Loving it. Best of all Trek!!!
