We stay warm with a belly full of hot silky noodles, and if you love food especially handmade noodles as much as us, stick with us as we show you some of the best places to warm up and fill up in Auckland!
For our first stop it is the legendary Xi'An Restaurant. Xi'An Food Bar in central Auckland is one of our favourite places to get handmade noodles. We've been going there for years. There are lots of these chains around Auckland now but the best one is located on:

With our first stop out of the way we head into the mid city (more specifically Atrium on Elliot food court) for another one of our favourites. If you enjoy hand pulled noodles then Yong's Hand Pulled Noodles is for you.

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-6pm
Saturday - Sunday 10am-5pm
Our friend Michelle highly recommended this next spot. If you enjoy Japanese Udon then Udon Works is a must visit. This is the first store in New Zealand that specializes in udon noodles and it brings us right back to Japan immediately. Get ready for a bit of a line though, this is a popular spot. For our final place we visit a spot that we love going to especially with a group of friends. The atmosphere at GoGo Music Cafe is great as well as the food and of course, the delicious massive plate of chicken and wide handmade noodles.

We've been going to yongs for so many years now. There are often lines that make the wait queue go on for ages. But then once you get the noodles in your belly all if forgiven and you're super happy 😁👍

That da pan ji looks especially good! Noodles look really on point and the chicken is chopped up nicely. A key is for the potato to be tender and not overcooked
The flavors of this da pan ji are on point delicious 👌 so right about those potatoes for me they are the key ingredient gotta be done right.

I love the super fat noodles! Agreed love the springiness of the noodles! Really like how you guys mention how filling they are, because that’s integral to how much I’m willing to pay for a bowl!
Noodles, some people think it's a simple design but there are levels to this. Basic noodle cup noodle level 1 it's ok. Level 100 noodle is hand made with fresh accompaniments and leaves you feeling better than any $100 gourmet meal ever could 😯 I so should have said that in the video 😂
That pork worls for well with the udon noodles!! How amazing!! Tempure and udon goes so well together as well!
Udon works made the greatest udon we ever ate in New Zealand. So good! The meat was cooked perfect and the udon so silky. Then that broth I my gosh game changer!

Da pan ji has all the main food groups chicken, hot oil, noodle and potato 😂 then you add some skewers live music and you really do have a perfect spot to hang out ✌👏😁

That pork mince noodle from the first spot that Peter is having is what I am craving right now. Hand made noodle restaurant at a food court ish place... Wow.... That is really not something I can find here for sure. I learned something new today. October 6, I will never forget haha. I will definitely be having some wonton noodle soup on that day. Agedashi tofu is my favorite Japanese appetitizer and what's interesting is, I have never had a bad Agedashi tofu anywhere to date 😂😂 its either hard to mess up or it's just so amazing that even bad ones taste good. I love udon but for some reason I tend to opt for ramen. Idk what it is! Haha. It must be the more intense flavor that is in it over udon soup. Big plate chicken..... Noodles... Omg.... This and the pork mince noodles from the first spot are what I need right now! Pork belly skewers look awesome too. You guys.... Did all these places in a single day?!? Much respect haha 💪💪💪 how are you guys so skinny??

Never tried udon dont even know if i spelled it right haha but anyway that thick noodles looks delicious and the shrimp tempura men i love tempura’s. Men dont know how you guys eat all this food in one day lol. Great video guys as always.👍👍👍😊
This was the only spot that was new. But it was highly recommended from our friend. It's the best udon we've ever had in New Zealand. Great flavors and the meat n tofu was delicious too 😊👌 did this episode over 2 days 😉
