WITH A CURB WEIGHT OF JUST UNDER 3,300 lbs, the C3 was never overweight, same weight as the current vettes are. It was just underpowered due to the heavy smog and emissions regulations that were implemented. And YES, these cars rode horrible, you felt every bump in the road. But with suspension tweaking and a new crate motor dropped in without all the emissions garbage, these vets could be turned into a monster with great looks, just as Danny did! Excellent!!!
I love listening to the count just talk about his cars. Even though he has over 100 cars he still loves them all. He is a proper car guy and is doing exactly what any car guy or girl would do if they could.
Danny, I have been a fan ever since u guys first started appearing on pawn stars! I personally asked for u to make these videos way back, and this is why! U have a style all your own and u wear it with pride! I really respect that.
I remember that Vette from the burnout contest with George. Poor George tried...haha...he got smoked!! " the Vette is just......NASTY! Then Roli had to clean the rubber out of the tail. Great smokeshow Count.
Always a pleasure to listen to Danny talk about his collection, wish i came across this channel sooner. He loves each car he owns and it shows. Keep up the fine work my man.
These cars originally stock are gorgeous and make great daily drivers but when people spice them up they become another breed. Worth every penny. A good investment.
i am digging this channel. So much more detail about your cars( i think it is goig to be better then the tv show). Its great to get the in depth details about your collection with your love for the cars.
You put your Vette on a diet where I put my '85 Pontiac Fiero on a weight lifting program and is the only one that I know of that has a turbo Diesel Duramax swap in it. I've been saving my pennies for a road trip to come see you guys and show it off because I know it will blow your mind. Much love for what you and the shop create and hope that you keep up the great work!.
I've owned 6 or 7 C-3 Vetts over the past 30 years and you're right on the money for the looks of these cars! My current restoration is a 1981 C-3 Vett T-Top with factory 4 speed and had only 2 adult owners in it's life and it came out of California. I'm trying to decide what color to do and I'm liking your red paint with the black trim. My interior is red and really clean and unmolested.
“Remember I got a 100 and some odd cars!” All I want is 1! Hahaha!! God Bless brother. You are the man. Wish to meet you some time at Vamp’d (which was great by the way)!
I have always loved Corvettes! My first Corvette was a 79 Vette, painted rootbeer brown. Had the same hood your Vette does and I had the 1981 rear end installed on it cause I loved the way it looked with the nice spoiler. I loved that car. The next Vette I bought was the C6 Painted Velocity yellow with black carbon striped from the hood all the way back to the rear bumpers. It is a very quick 6-speed manual and very well modded. Now with the new mid-engine C8, I think that's my next one! I think it is an awesome looking Vette. Take care Count, Cheers, Tim
Thanks for taking the time out to do these for us car guys. I doubt many people understand how busy you probably are and what it takes to do all these.
@Count's Customs I Love the nod to Baldwin Motion..💯💯 I have a 81 vette with a ls3 all texas speed forged internals pushin 640 to rear wheels these cars are a blast after you put some real hp under the hood I love it when i get a shot at the new 5.0 stang... My old vette is a wolf in sheep's clothing .... Eats their ass alive The look on their face is priceless Nice ass ride Danny...💯💯💯💯
I thought it looked similar to a Motion car , I live in Long Island and Motions is legend here! I used to love the Motion I roc SS and the monte from back in the day! Great tribute brother!
I had a nice 78 T-A let a guy at work take it one weekend when I used his new 79 midnight blue vet had some fun, real nice vet Danny. it reminds me of my old 74 RR 383 magnum headers pipe,s
Danny the reason I like you you are a gentleman very likeable personality a guitar player a car guy business man all around very cool great show wish you the best in all your endeavors god bless .
Hi Danny Koker. That 81 Corvette of yours is an amazing looking car. I'm very much into the history of vehicles and I would love to more exciting stories about your vehicles that you own. I once owned a 1968 Chevrolet Pickup truck. It had the original V-8 4bbl with the 3 speed manual shift on the steering column but sadly it was totaled out by a drunk driver. I would love to visit your shop and talk about your vehicles. You and your crew do some amazing work on vehicles. I love your videos as well my friend.
Count is amazing dude. starts in vagas with a old vette ends up with a masterpiece. because thats what that car is. its almost like if i had that car and money wasn't really a problem. My car would look just like this. INCREDIBLE CAR 100%. The look of that vette is just awesome.
bman classics Thanks! It’s an Ontario Orange ‘72, and it was my first car! I’ve held onto it for about 12-13 years. Like Danny said, they’re a lot of fun, and they’re beautiful cars. Mine isn’t a big block but it’s also better being that it has the Muncie 4-speed!
X wife had a 76 it was a monster it had a 383 stroker in it manual 6 speed it sure on the rear end I know the tranny was custom I'm more of a Mopar guy myself but any vechile 10yrs older than me catches my eye lol which is 76 on down and in my opinion count did a lil too much count and not enough Vette 😂 I think he would had been better off updating the exterior with updated Vette parts ..hers was chevy orange too btw
i bought 3 vette 1980 when i was 20 . 1 used and 2 brand new. i still own the third one today and i will never sell it. for me what i really love it's the look.
Danny love your cars love your two albums keep brining rubber and keep rocking and maybe in the future you could add a Aussie classic to your collection. Peace brother
Enjoyed the HELL outta that burn out. Freakin awesome. The car sounds amazing and I love the paint scheme. Red and black always wins. Great car. Great video.
Danny, love ya dude. But tell your Camera guy to do more shots of the car you're talking about than you talking about the car if you get me haha. So glad to see this on RUclips!
All I can think about is corvette summer. Edit I’m about to go grab that dvd time to watch that one again. C3 is my favorite. I love the wiper doors and the pop ups and the fact it’s not loved as much as it should be
That really was a good era of styling from chevy's sport cars IMO. I like the muscular lines of the cars. They seemed to have lost some of that character in the following era. But like the third gen camaros, the stock motor was ridiculously weak. The way you did up the car fits my taste perfectly. I love it.

Kind of a whatever isn't a reason, it's a useless excuse. He's better than that.
Just wanted to say I watched your public Access show growing up in Vegas during the 80s and 90s. You've always been one of a kind. Keep it up.
I was stationed out at Nellis from 1986 through 1989. I miss Las Vegas. My wife and I love your show Count.
Really enjoy your car stories, can easily listen these from start to finish! Thank you!
Danny you are awesome man. You saving the historic cars. And your collection is dream of any vintage car lover.
Loved that episode, and love the way the Corvette turned out, looks great and really screams with those side pipes!
I graduated in 1982 and I love that body style..... I’m like you, the 70’s had the best looking body styles...... good time vans and big cars ..... 😀
Terry Randolph im a 1982 also. Sadly, i stuck there in my mind. Old School Son!!
Nice headlights conversion👍🏼
I love it. I seen it in person when I visited your shop 10 year's ago. I'm a Corvette enthusiast. I've owned several over the year's.

Truely beautiful Vette! 👍 What an awesome car. I'm still stuck on your 78 Lincoln though. That Linc just speaks to me......
I remember that Vette from the burnout contest with George. Poor George tried...haha...he got smoked!! " the Vette is just......NASTY! Then Roli had to clean the rubber out of the tail. Great smokeshow Count.

Thats one bad ass Corvette! I love all the detail you put into your cars. Thanks for the video's. Keep them coming 👍👍🤘🤘
I would love to go out and meet this guy! He is very well spoken and intelligent, although he doesn’t lead on just how smart he really is.
My favorite is the 1983 Corvette what a dream car.
Joking, or you like the one single surviving 83 Corvette? There was no 83 model year of Corvette.
Thanks for taking the time out to do these for us car guys. I doubt many people understand how busy you probably are and what it takes to do all these.
