Lyrics -
I walked along a forbidden road
I had to know
Where does it go
Like birds that fly into the sun
I had to run
I’m not the only one
Why do you look at me that way
I’m not a problem that needs solving
The truth is still evolving
Life is the choices that we make
We’re the masters of our own fate
The painter and the paint
You need to lose your mind
To get back to the light sometimes
I walked along a forbidden road
I had to know
Where does it go
Like birds that fly into the sun
I had to run
I’m not the only one
Maybe I’m never satisfied
I made a lot of poor decisions
Yeah I’d make some revisions
And I’m still trying to get it right
I’m a living contradiction
The cure and the affliction
You need to lose your mind
To get back to the light sometimes
I walked along a forbidden road
I had to know
Where does it go
Like birds that fly into the sun
I had to run
I’m not the only one
So do you love me now
Or did I let you down
You said you wanted all my secrets
So I showed you all my demons
Do you love me now
I walked along a forbidden road
I had to know
Where does it go
Like birds that fly into the sun
I had to run
I’m not the only one
thsi film was so magical amazing robbie williams you proved them all wrong this was not cheesy the best yet ive seen loads freddie mercury elton john this blew them away amazing
I have to see this movie.
One the most beautiful 🤩 song of this year for me in my opinion just incredible performance behind the scenes of the whole
Just incredible transformation come from this 🙌
This song is a rip off from a real musician called Jim Crose....listen to it
wow the song and the clip is so awesome❤❤
The song is a rip off from Jim Crose
I'm a huge Jim Croce fan and quite like Robbie Williams - this is a great reworking of the original tune. Like it very much.
It has almost the same melody as the late singer-songwriter✝️🕊️ Jim Croce with the song 'I Got a Name'
Agreed-- "I got a name" was sung amazingly by Croce, but it was written by Norman Gimbel & Charles Fox-- the same year they won the Grammy for "Killing Me Softly With His Song"
I came here to say this as well, just heard it on the radio for the first time and was like" I know this melody"
That's why it got withdrawn from academy best original category.
Thank you for that.
@@phillydra9823same here! 👍🏻
I think you mean to say GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINEE 'forbidden road'! congratulations!
gets me emotional
terrific film and enjoyed this song at the end :)
so genial ❤❤❤
Proper Robbie song - fantastic lyrics - can't wait to see the film.
Proper Robbie song😂😂😂😂
It's a rip off of a Jim Crose song...who was an actual real musician.....unlike Robbie Williams
@@simoncbr900rr It's Jim Croce, and he didn't write that song either
@@dangquang524 i know,it was Fox and Gimbel
This looks amazing
Feliz Navidad Merry Christmas❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m gonna watch this movie💯
"I've made a lot of poor decisions, yeah I've made some revisions" is a pretty ironic line
🤞
This reminds me of Jim Croce's "I got a name"
It is uncannily similar

That’s gotta be a real kingdom of the apes movie😭
That is because it is. Weta FX is behind all the CGI, the same company behind EVERY Planet of the Apes movie of recent times
It's a monkey not an ape
Who is listening to this in 2014
Bob Dylan - Don't Think Twice, It's All Right
Uncannily similar, especially at the beginning of the main verse to the Jim Croce Song from 1973 'I Got a Name' composed by Norman Gimbel and Charles Fox. This must surely be a tribute to those talented individuals from 50 years ago.
"I Got A Name" was the 2nd biggest hit Fox & Gimbel had in 1973... The first was "Killing Me Softly With His Song" sung by Roberta Flack which eventually won the Grammy. "I Got A Name" was written for a Jeff Bridges movie called "Last American Hero" that was shortlisted (top 10) for Oscar consideration but ultimately not nominated.
And that similarity just got it knocked out of the best original song Oscar race.
@@zanetierney Bob Dylan - Don't Think Twice, It's All Right
tribute? it's a rip-off
Rob writes lyrics not melodies.
Jim Croce absolutely
Are they related?
The songs are uncannily similar.
@@fusion4262 How about Bob Dylan - Don't Think Twice, It's All Right
I hope not
Bella canzone, nice song.
Increíblemente similar a la canción de Jim Croce de 1973 'I got a name', compuesta por Norman Gimbel y Charles Fox. Seguramente esto debe ser un tributo a aquellas personas increíblemente talentosas de hace 50 años.
Next time make a comment in China, and if that's not enough, make a comment in Japan or the language of Mars and shout!

I had the same thought
Wasn't this already uploaded?
Yes, but people want the lyrics version so they can sing along to. The song is a chart topper.
Will Amy be in sonic 3 ?
This song was disqualified from the Oscars because it sounds like "I Got a Name" by Jim Croce. What do you think?.
Sounds nothing like it.
I hope Jim Croce's estate is taking note of this. Sounds an awful lot like "I Got a Name" Lawsuit, anyone?

Hideous video but brilliant song
Why is this 12 seconds shorter than the actual song?
Think we have a lawsuit on the horizon

Completely understand why pulled, its almost a copy paste of Jim Groce, shame on you Robbie....
Very close to Jim Croce "I got a name"...
people are acting like this was some sort of "homage" or tribute. this is just stealing a melody. call a spade a spade
È di jim croce
Does not sound like Jim Croce I got a name. Not more than so many other songs.
Horror movie
Rip off of Jim Croce's I Got a Name
💩🗑
Autotuned crap 😂
