There used to be Syrians settled in Southern Indian state of Kerala since a 1000 years ago when Syrian traders visited and settled. There is even a city in Kerala called Aleppy, named after Aleppo. There are two denominations of Christians in that state .. Syrian Christians and Latin Christians..with their own magestic churches build hundreds of years ago.
Orthodox Syrian malabar churches
Syrian arab christians very old one of the first Christian in the world. We have Orhodox arabs churches , we have Katholik arabs churches , very rich culture we have. We have Armanian , Asurian , Kaldanies, Druzie, Jews, Yazidies so many different religion and sect. Plus moslim Allawiet , moslim sunnah , shia. Plus Kurds are living in Syria.

Are you people that naive or didn't got exposed to world history coz conflicts within countries or international ones are not always based on religion but are due to multiple reasons.
See here in Syria only aren't majority of them belong to one religion but still are fighting, isn't it? similar issues persist in Yemen, Iraq, etc. While the political ideologies did havoc everywhere in the world. Likes of lenin, hitler, Mao, etc killed millions. And Britishers did the same with indians have you forgot Bengal famine and the poverty they pushed us into. Inshort there are numerous causes of one not being in a peaceful state some another examples are of Venezuela, North Korea, Cuba, etc. Aren't these countries in crisis.
All I am trying to say is One needs to have larger perspective of issuess so that one could differentiate among source of conflicts rather than painting all into one umbrella of religion.

Beautiful video. Syria housed one of the world's most ancient civilization rivalling that of Bharat, Sumeria, and Egypt. It was the center of Levant and cornerstone of civilization and culture in Middle East. I have interacted with many Syrians and almost all of them - very educated, highly skilled, sharp minded but friendly people with a high business acumen. Just now recently a few weeks back a news report was published which said - *ancient bath houses have been opened in Damascus (or Homs, if I am right) along with the weaving and textile sector...* . Firstly it's beyond imagination and applaudable to open up such *fully functional* ancient heritage sites but what blew me up was the amount of skill and precision the workers put into opening up industries - from food to textile whenever they see that the war had ended or there was a small leeway that allowed them to do so.... That is dedication and heroic indeed which needs to be revered 🙏🏻

As a foreigner to Syria, I have read a lot and saw different sites especially the dam construction in Syria which is decades old but still functional. These are all traits of a very ancient civilization and by the way the history of Queen Zenobia and the palace with the rumored automatons in the throne room etc. cannot be forgotten. These directly connect the dots to which lead to the fact that our ancestors (of all humans) knew much more than modern science.
