Sawano is the modern day Mozart!
actually 86 was composed by kohta yamamoto only
from s4 aot was composed by BOTH kohta yamamoto and sawano
*sawano and kohta ara music gods
@@AM17titanthere is the song sawano composed for 86 anime

4:00 Combo Epicness🔥🔥🔥
This combination of these two tracks is just marvelous
The Attack on The Titan tells the story of why we are doomed. The history of life has been a series of tragedies and is bound to end. The Eighty-Six says that history will nevertheless continue. And the epic process of tragedy was the birth of meaning, not meaninglessness, so that the world could not disappear into nothingness. How will you make the meaning of life and history your own? Is history an end or a birth for you? These two masterpieces of the age ask you.
Yeah, there's a lot parallels between them.
But also a lot of contrasts. 86 is ironically more upbeat and idealistic than AoT.
Despite our main cast, the Spearhead squadron being in a worse situation. They are much more merciful toward their oppressors. They resolve to be better than them. And despite being sent to their deaths, choose to die with dignity.
They chose to protect the humanity of the few kind people among a largely xenophobic country.
---
In AoT, Eren sacrifices the world and his morals so that his friends could live free.
As Bertholdt says, there wasn't a right or wrong. The world was simply too cruel.
The world of AoT didn't allow for happiness for Eldians. The circumstances and immense prejudice made it extremely difficult.
So Eren was forced to bend to the cruel world and become cruel himself, so that happiness could be forced to exist for his friends.
Whereas, in 86 they chose to die with their ideals intact, even though it would be meaningless to a goal for freeing the 86.
But of course, they miraculously survived season 1s final battle, but I'm just talking about themes here.
I really don't think so, as AoT simply presents war and conflict that revolved around endless cycles of hatred. As conflict is human nature, so I do not see how it presents a story of why we are doomed. To the contrary, without conflict humanity would suffer far more than it does today.
@@thenecromancer8805 it comes down to interpretation, but in mine I see it as a story that hopes for a future without conflict. The kid with the dog at the very ending is an inversion of Ymir, so the cycle of hatred that Hallucigenia started by binding to Ymir, this child, who willingly with a pet dog instead of being chased by dogs enters the tree is probably starting something above conflict. With the themes presented as they are Isayama strikes me as a very idealistic person and that's what he wanted to portray with AoT imo.
@@aurelia_the_jelly I do not disagree that he is an idealistic person, the entire story arc of the last season / 40 chapters is the main cast chasing an ideal when the reality of their situation is far less kind.
I just disagree on the OP's "we are doomed" interpritation.
@@thenecromancer8805 I do too. As I said, AoT is a hopeful story to me, not a doomer one. I disagree on the point that "without conflict humanity would suffer far more than it does today". I don't see how that is true and I don't see how Isayama intended to portray that.
