I grew up watching this video. I'm 29 and I think i must have been 9 or 10 years old when my brother and I picked this up from the skateshop. I swear i've seen this a thousand times. Love it!
at age 9 when this video came out, i was certain that germany was all forests and halfpipes. by the way, thank you santa cruz for teaching me who the descendants were. changed my life.
Big THX for postin'it !!!. "GOOD OLD-SCHOOL MEMORIES" Such a great sound & sk8-video. I remember, it pushed me soo good for train'n my vert skills. (which where not so good) never nailed in the halfpipe e.g. a handplant or big airs, but a few stalls 50-50 grind and so damn proud of my little "early grab mini airs" I WAS THE MAN!!! & 11 years old (Ha ha ha!). love this video, special this part. Greetings from Oktoberfest-City(Munich) to all true oldschool out'there. PS:Skateboarding for life
Mmm... Firehose...mmm... Swissbanks from my home town. Too bad that you get kicked out so fast nowadays. Jeff Hedges had such a awesome style. Make these memories last forever! :D
Such a great clip. It sure doesn't feel like it was so long ago. I've been looking for that version of Silly Girl for years. The version on I Don't Want To Grow Up is good but it's lacking the intensity of this one. Anyone know where to get it?
this was my first video that my freinds and i would watch befor getting on the via bus and ripping the streets of San Antonio TX....WOW I WISH I COULD GO BACK AND RE LIVE IT OVER AND OVER.....SKATE OR DIE
Ahahah yea, you're the man dude! uuuh... sweet old times.. M.J. Fox skating on tv and my PP skull & sword deck under my bed. Uhh! See ya back in time man ;-)
Yeah, I remember the first time I saw Jeff Hedges skating at Joe's Ramp in Hayward. I remember spending most of my time just him doing fucking backside alley oops over the channel than actually skating myself. Then some time later I watched him doing these stalled out hand plants at HP Ramp while someone fed him a French Fry while doing the Invert hand plant stall. I can't remember seeing this guy sitting still in one place.
@ ilnumeroventidue: think we've gotta few little things in'common !?. IDEA !: Let's meet us, then steal the "Back to future time machine" put some oldschool-decks into M.J.Fox's and Doc Brown's Delorian, travel back & YES ... then spend together some time in these good old sk8-days!!!. Is'nt it a genius plan!?. HaHaHa!! & Greetz man!.
Great memories

Bought! Thank you. I don't know why I never thought to check Liveage! Probably because it doesn't sound live.

silly girl rocks, that and LMA by the mark of cane were my favorite skate tracks to blast on a walkman and blitz a down hill footpath, T.G.O.D's
War Claus tatsächlich der Sänger von Eight Dayz, und haben sie nicht den Song "What's So Strange About Me" gemacht? Intro von Wheels of Fire... ?
does anyone know the name, who played the guitar on these tracks?
Those old skoolers had way better inverts.
sometimes widespread panic
These verts were so exciting and they just kept getting bigger until they maxed out almost too quickly people lost interest after Danny way
