- What people do not understand about racing is that it is a game of wits with machine. What can I do to put you into a position where I benefit? Where can I put my car to get the most advantage in any given situation? It's a game of cards, I show you my hand and you have a decision to make. You can fold or you can go all in. But that doesn't mean it was smart to go all in and I don't have to be sorry for you when you lose it all. It's truly disturbing to see other commentators completely miss the plot, from a regular journalist to the drivers/old team-owners. Everyone has gone completely deranged. For William Byron? Why???

I agree. He makes weird decisions when it comes to racing. I'm telling you as the day is LONG, brother, every driver knows this position, they've been in it a million times. He just decided... welp, I'm gonna run him outta room and see if he lifts. Joey lifted and avoided a wreck. He really should thank Logano that he had enough patience to not wreck his ass right then and there outta 2.
It just shocks me how pundits like Earnhardt Jr. can be so blind to what happened there. It's clearly obvious bias on the part of the NASCAR community and NASCAR media to avoid this situation, as if it is something new to our sport; taking someone's air away has been done in every NASCAR race since we had speed, like it never before seen or some shit! To continue bashing Joey and continuing to act as if Byron was completely in the right is ludicrous. It's as if these people have never watched this sport before and they have driven in the sport for decades. It's mind boggling really.
BUT YET WHEN ROSS DOES IT IN XFINITY TO KEVIN HARVICK, RIGHT OFF TWO AND ABSOLUTELY RIGHT REAR'D HIM, IT'S TOTALLY COOL. "HE JUST RACES HARD", LIKE YEAH OK!!! THE LOGIC IS GARBAGE.
