Hey shervin! Thanks for the video. So question for you, have you tested the sleep factor of muse s now? Thats the reason i wanna buy it on top of meditation guide (as opposed to muse 2 which only does the latter) and you mentioned dream 2 that you use as well for sleeping. So i. Wondering given that you got both why makes you choose to use 2 different sets where muse s can now do both..? Im assuming there should be some sort of advantage? In your video you mention the update for sleeping wasnt there yet at the time of shooting this, so just checking in on an update and a more side by side comparison of the 2 perhaps? 😊 Thanks mate🙏
I'm testing it now! Video coming out soon! Muse vs Dreem. After testing the Muse is nice that it can do both, but the experience Dreem provides around Sleep is MUCH better. The charging, the app, the sleep programs, etc
@@ShervinShares I am sure I will love it as I love the 1st generation Muse. I use everyday for 10 minutes for the last 3 years. There were some breaks. Thanks.
Please complement in your video that the sensors in the headband are of low quality and last only a few months. I bought the MUSE because of your video, and today I regret it very much.
i cannot find any opinions (yet - got excited when I heard the intro but wasn't really covered) whether going from "gold" to "silver" sensors is any compromise on data quality, as all other differences moving from muse 2 to muse s are fine for the cost increase... but i'm a data nerd, so unsure...
Hi... very good review. Did not found any german RUclipsr. So I interested in the Muse S. You mention the connection problems during sessions. In some reviews I read that the band is more sensible than with Muse2. But some write even with Muse2 they had more problems as with MuseS. The fitting of Muse S should be better and also has the sleep modes which are interesting for me. So maybe you must buy both devices and compare which works better for you?
I wonder how do you use Muse S while trying to sleep. I mean you must pair it with airpods right. and airpods only last for like 5 hours then it will make this alert sound which wouldn't just wake you up in the middle of the night?
Good question. I just did it with speaker phone next to me. But if you have a partner probably airpods, but I can’t imagine having that in my ear all night
How does the device “separates” or “blocks” the hearth rate reading from the brain waves reading? If it reads both, then the hearth reading will “contaminate” the brain reading.
This is a terrible product, it's 2020, but yet I keep hearing "Bluetooth connection lost" I kid you not, also you have to wet the side of your head so the band will connect. The Bluetooth problem says it all, for 320 euro, you would expect a premium product, but they used the cheapest components to profit squeeze. Don't buy one, I am saving you a lot of bother.
ya I've oddly had some issues with connection too. Messaged support and they've been helpful sometimes. I've noticed when I have a lot of other bluetooth devices that it behaves funk
I use various guided meditations but I want to collect the data for those sessions on the muse s but not use the muse meditations. How do you suggest doing that?
I'm a little confused about the subscription that's available with muse. It says that Biofeedback is only available with the subscription. So if you don't have the subscription, what does the headband do?
Nice! Let me know how you like it. Muse S has extra feature & is better if you're traveling because it's more compact. Muse 2 is great if you want to use Myndlift or other products that built on top of it
Shervin Shares - Wellness Technology Thanks, Shervin! I like to be able to listen to changing sounds due to my EEG! Muse S is not compatible with Mindlyft? And which is better for those who wear glasses? I’m deciding to return it & buy Muse 2 cuz I don’t use go-to-sleep Journey so far!
@@user-nb8vg7dr6j I'd probably go with Muse 2. Muse S is not compatible with external products because it does not have a USB port on it. I think both you'd want to remove your glasses when using it
Shervin Shares - Peak Performance I ordered the Muse S a few days ago but when I clicked on your link to buy it I didn’t receive the $30 off. It’s not big deal though.

@@ShervinShares thanks a lot man.. Look forward to your comparison video 🙏 shervin where are you based out of, if you care to share or course? 🙂
I’m in California at this time. But move around a lot
that magnetic asmr....magic!
Might be the best reason to buy one 😂😂
Thank you for the video! The link for the discount didn’t change the price. Is there an actual code I can try? Thanks
sorry I'll have to reach out!
Another question: muse s have guide about sleep period like a mind or breath practice?
it has a sleep meditation, but sleep tracking gets released in a few days!
Ordered one from your link. This will be an upgrade from my 1st generation Muse. Thanks.
Yeeee lmk how you like it

How can I clean the front sensors! I have difficult to calibrate and stop in the middle session, I need to wet the sensors? 🙄
i would add a slight wet towel to them! it is tough sometimes. you can also reach out to their customer support
Please complement in your video that the sensors in the headband are of low quality and last only a few months.

thats very good to know! did you reach out to customer support for a replacement? I got a replacement when my Muse S stopped working
@@ShervinShares I have changed it twice, but I am afraid of having to buy a new one every two months. Congratulations on your channel.
Wait, the tracking sleep stages is coming? that would be great. Where did you get that info from?
I HOPE it is. Not sure, but I’ve heard they’re thinking about it
Thanks Shervin. I appreciate your review. It was very helpful!
Thank you Doug!

I don't know and the data about it isn't out yet. So I didn't want to give information on something I don't know about!
Sliver conducts better than copper but less than gold. It’s just so they can save money. Problem with silver is it oxidizes.

yes they made a gen2 that should be better
i cant understand what he is saying at (0:28) something about why he dint return it? maybe his mustache blocked the words
LOL
no idea how i got here but ... nice review , what is the origin of your name ? shervin ? its the first time i heard / saw the name
Well glad you made it! My name is Persian

I have muse 1 and muse 2, do you recommend muse s?
honestly no if you have those 2. Only if you want sleep tracking a Muse device to travel with thats smaller & portable
How does the device “separates” or “blocks” the hearth rate reading from the brain waves reading? If it reads both, then the hearth reading will “contaminate” the brain reading.
great question! multiple sensors next to each other?

no clue!
Great review!! Thank you so much!!
Glad you enjoyed it!

there's unofficial apps that pull data from Muse!

you can do their meditation session without guidance
What is the advantage of muse2 compared to muse S? BTW, thank you for your info! I’ve used your promo code and gotten muse S.

You are everything but calm and especially not focused. You are perfect proof that the headband is not working if you mediated that long with it.
#FAIL
awesome review! Thanks for sharing !
Thanks Presh! Appreciate the comment
I got my original muse used for $50. Love it
Wow! That’s so cheap!!
How accurate is the sleep tracking with this band?
its decent, but take all data with agrain of salt
What's your updated review in 2023?
I haven’t used it in a while! Need to do updated review
