Got these for my Keychron Q5 and I LOVE them. This was my first experience with putting a board together, and I did bend a few pins when inserting the switches, even while I was being careful not to.
@@polishedkarma1338 I’m not familiar with those terms, but they’ve been great. They came factory lubricated and the only mod I did to the board was a tape mod. They feel great, sound great, no complaints.
I bought a whole new Atreus so that I could have a rig with these on. Phenomenal feeling switches. medium-solid tactile press, rock-solid bottom out, smooth solid linear spring back on the upstroke, nice solid 'thocc' during typing speed. Just the right amount of engagement and feedback with this switch to let you know you made a wise choice on these finger-pleasing switches. No bouncy-bounce. No loosy-goosey. No hyperactive or lethargic character. Like driving a Audi vs driving a Dodge… Taut... yea... Kinda like that. Very happy with them. 😁 Deepens the rabbit hole as even though these are truly wonderful, the adventure still goes on..
How does this compare to mmd princess tactile? In terms of tactility, sound, feel? I prefer higher pitched ones. And i do like the feel of mmd princess tactile but it's more on deep sounding
Just got the Baby Kangaroo V2 to my Keychron Q1 PRO and Q2 PRO, better pins on the new ones too. They came lubed, but way too sparse for my tase, they also had a sharp ping from the spring. But after some more lube they feel and sound very nice. I have used several tactile switches before, but with these you can really feel the satisfying bump.
How are they compare to Ajazz Diced Kiwis? I love Diced Kiwis, but im looking for switches for another one with different layout and I see baby kangaroos get recommended. I cant seem to get them in tester packs so i just want to know before deciding on picking some.
I unfortunately have not tried the Ajazz Diced Kiwis, but looking at the numbers they seem pretty similar. It looks like the kangaroos would need a but more force and have a tiny bit more travel (nothing crazy may not even notice a difference) I feel like if you like the Diced Kiwis the Kangaroos would likely be good if you are a heavy typer if you are a lighter typer you may want to go the other way. I slam my keys which I think is why I lean towards the heavier tactile feel switches. All just thoughts though since its tough without having the others with me.
@@TactileTalk Thank you for your answer, I think it will be perfect since I'm looking for something a tiny bit heavier than Diced Kiwi but not too much - just abit. I think i'm more confident getting a pack. I cant get them on tester so i was going around trying to get more info on them before purchasing. Much appreciated :)
bro the right ear is left out in the sound test...it happens in other vids of yours as well...might check on that otherwise great content what would you recommend for first time tactiles? Im kinda between this, bobas or neapolitan
Thanks I’ll have to spend more time on sound tests and get this figured out. These are my absolute favorites right now but I haven’t tried the others you mentioned yet.
Got yourself a new sub from another fellow tactile enjoyer, I'd recommend you to get some Mechwild Bluejays, and try the stem in other tactile housings, every other tactile switch will feel like a linear after that lmao
Cannot decide between getting them / durock anubis / tecsee blue sky tactile. Got a tester switch for all of them and still cannot figure our which one to get.
I have these exact switches and they are honestly the best life investment i have made for my programming career
Nice! I’m glad so many people seem to agree these are awesome switches.
Man, I just ordered these and they're going to be here next week. This video is extra assurance. Thank you.
Put these in my arc 60 plateless build. So good I'm actually looking forward to my summer English comp class.

They are fantastic aren’t they!? I continue to bend pins all the time haha it gets better but I’m not a master yet by any means
I’m about to build a q5 max. how have you liked the BBK so far and do they require any live or film?
@@polishedkarma1338 I’m not familiar with those terms, but they’ve been great. They came factory lubricated and the only mod I did to the board was a tape mod. They feel great, sound great, no complaints.
I got some of these recently and they are ridiculously good
Glad other people like them too haha. I keep coming back to them after I try out others, definitely gonna be a hard one to dethrone for me

Oh the adventure definitely continues I’m looking for the next switch to dethrone these already haha
They are tactile i think
I'm using Baby Raccoons right now, and I really like them. Looks like the Kangaroos are great too. Solid review.

If you like to bottom out every keystroke these are great. I don't, so I ended up going with Durock White Lotus for most of my Atreus.

these videos getting higher and higher quality 🔥
Thanks so much!
fantastic video mate! You should definitely look into Ice Kachang switches, they're easily in my top 3 favourite tactiles!
I will definitely check them out!

Oh very interesting, I’ll look into that. Thanks!
Damn, they do sound good. My sweeet spot is around 50g though, these might be a tad too heavy unless I swap out the springs.
Just go all out for super cliky Kailh Box Jade. 😁😁😁

I haven’t tried all of those but the kangaroos are definitely great. It’s hard to find big differences between a lot of the better switches
sheesh just bought a nuphy with these switches cant wait to receive it
I haven’t had a nuphy yet but definitely doing something right to have these switches as an option
better than Neapolitans?
I was curious about this I think Polaris switches sounds better. Thanks for sharing! :)
My batch was extremely inconsistent tho
baby kangaroo vs cream blue pro vs lavender purple pro?
Always baby kangaroos for me
What are those key caps?
They are the NicePBT Galaxy by cannon keys
I don't have the problem of bending pins somehow lol
Hmmm lol I’m prob just an aggressive builder haha
Have you tried Azure Dragons?
I have not tried those out
You should try! Those switches are amazing, pre-lubed but after film, they sound and feel amazing
Do these stick?
I have not had any sticking issues with them
@@TactileTalk okay great.. i heard from a guy that they should be avoided because "they stick" but i dont think its a common issue
thanks
Too heavy and not quite tactile enough for me
They sound pretty cool tho
These are so expensive and not worth the price.
There is nothing wrong with having a terrible opinion, but that is an actually horrible opinion.
what keycap set is that :o
That should be the nicePBT galaxy set by canonkeys
@@TactileTalkof course out of stock 😭 such a nice set
