This is the team I rooted for when the Knicks were terrible in the 2010s. Their Grit and Grind era kinda reminded me of the 90s Knicks

A bunch of players have refused to play for the grizzlies after they drafted them. Steve Francis refused to move to Canada when he was drafted by Vancouver, so he was traded to Houston where he became “the franchise”
Kyle Lowry was also drafted by Memphis and stayed there for a year
@@Agameylor1529 That was a different situation. Kyle was with the Grizzlies 3 years and didn’t show much of anything, while Mike Conley was good right away. They chose Conley and shipped Lowry to Houston where he was ok. He wasn’t really any good til he got to Toronto

The biggest achievement this core has achieved were upsetting Spurs, and reaching the conference final once, with guys like Zo Randolph and Conley being underrated

As a KD fan, I always had this love-hate relationship with this team! I hate them because they are OKC's nemesis during that time, their battles were just too good and they knew how to defend KD and Russ. Randolf was ballin, Gasol was steady as well as Conley and Tony Allen man, the best guy to defend KD! i love them because they have that 04 pistons swag in them! So hardworking, no superstar players just pure team defense!
