I saw a fight between two guys many years ago. One of the guys was eating solid punches and smiling like it was a joke. The other dude literally got scared and backed off and was like I'm done." I literally seen someone lose a fight with out getting hit. That's what the Hawaiian guy reminds me of.
Change the step rule to a "not being able to leave the ground rule". I also notice that the technique isn't too use your full half, but just the butt of the palm.

They need to look at the rules. A tiny bit of foot movement shouldn't be a foul. On the other hand, most of the KOs come from clubbing strikes to the jaw, the guys who really deliver a stinging slap rarely score any KOs with them.
Not only are the stepping fouls needed but the positioning of a striker hand also is this a slapping contest or a hitting passing for slapping..a true slap is a straight open hand not a push to make the injured person in more in danger they had this one right period

It wouldn’t be hard, I think the rule should be your foot has to stay in contact at all times with the ground. A heal or toe lift shouldn’t matter.
