These power strikes are more palm strikes than slaps. These knock outs and knock downs occur with the heel of the hand. That's not a slap.
Always wonder why some of them don't realize this. Winners use the palm strike to the jaw line, often upwards. The losers are the actual slappers. 😅

It wouldn’t be hard, I think the rule should be your foot has to stay in contact at all times with the ground. A heal or toe lift shouldn’t matter.

They need to look at the rules. A tiny bit of foot movement shouldn't be a foul. On the other hand, most of the KOs come from clubbing strikes to the jaw, the guys who really deliver a stinging slap rarely score any KOs with them.

Unless it's fixed on to the floor, it ain't going to do much. If it is fixed on to the floor though, you'll be breaking your ankles when you get knocked out.

@@palrasto That makes sense but I wonder how they would implement something like that into the posting area. They could probably make it removable so the defender doesn't trip up after getting slapped. Or possibly some braces that you hook in to the floor only when you're striking.
