Miles Cook, a senior at Sacred Heart Cathedral, achieved a runner-up finish in the second section of boys varsity competition at the 51st San Francisco Lowell Invitational by running 13:46.3 on the 2.78-mile course at Golden Gate Park. Cook, who triumphed last season in 13:57.2, contributed to Sacred Heart Cathedral grabbing ninth with 245 points.
