Congratulations on your new plant Mick. Always a great feeling getting that one bucket list plant you are looking for. Hope it does well for you and gives you many nice pitchers. As always, thanks for sharing with us.
Hi Mick sorry the packing was hard it look grate just like it came out of my growing space so glad it isn’t damaged hopefully your happy yes it’s seed grow
Hi Mick love your channel, I would really like to start and keep Nepenthes, can you recommend me which is an easy one to start with please? They need much light water, what peat sand you pot them in please, much appreciated
Last week a friend asked me if I could repot his Nepenthes. I would I said but if it falls into multiple pieces I get to keep one 😁 I have a Nepenthes now (common lowland/highland cross)
just let it get acclimatised to its environment Ynse it will survive and soon put a pitcher out when it get’s hungry you could use sb invigorator as a folia feed just spray once a month
great addition Mick. I prefer "toilet bowl"-shaped pitchers. only have one Nep. jacquelineae. it's a little baby from Scotland carnivorous I got it at the Orchid festival in Glasgow this May. perhaps jamban in the future as they take a lot of space when mature happy growing
I recently bought jacquelineae as well but yes to get the larger “toilet bowl “ pitchers on jamban you need to let it grow and grow to its full potential.

Happy growing Ynse they are amazing plants and are less attention seeking than orchids 😂
@@MicksMasdevalliaorchids Until you get way too many 🤣
Hi Mick. Can I mount my Nepenthes ? and would the care be any different from potted up (besides keeping it moist)
Ynse I personally wouldn’t and to be honest I don’t know any other growers who do I think they’d dry out two quick.
@@MicksMasdevalliaorchids that makes sense 😁 (I will get another one and give it a try)
How and what (if at all) do you feed a Nepenthes that doesn't have pitchers yet (also not very well rooted)
just let it get acclimatised to its environment Ynse it will survive and soon put a pitcher out when it get’s hungry you could use sb invigorator as a folia feed just spray once a month
@@MicksMasdevalliaorchids 😁 I will wait and see it happen
