The dog isn't really that great even though you can beef him up with the right build. Unfortunately the fact that his ability doesn't activate when upgrading a unit directly just means you have to always have 1 disposable unit.
Points I would add: if you can afford to, wait for odd rounds to level pets up (until round 9) and also you don't have to take a higher tier pet you got on level up. Running 2 mosquitoes will almost always work out better than investing in the shrimp. Cans are your friend. took me way too long to reliaze that even 2 or 3 early cans can make all the difference. suddenly that scorpion doesn't die to mosquito or blowfish rng Non optimal plays are OK if it makes your team better. if you have to sell your ant to afford a turkey on your 4 sheep team, don't wait for a pill. technically a turkey triggering twice gives more stats than pilling a level 3 ant. or pilling a pig in front of an ox is essentially paying 3 gold for melon and 1 attack, which might be better for your team than 2 more rolls and sometimes your loses aren't your fault, bad rng or stupidly optimized teams will happen. it's easy to feel bad losing a really fun team to rooster, turkey, parrot but don't let it get eat at you. every run is a learning experience and the more you learn the better you get
1:10 This is true against beginners. But if you play the weekly pack you'll often come across high attack low health units at the front. So best units at the front is kind of a throw. Have at least one other unit in front of it
I've been playing for quite a while now but I still sometimes find myself falling into some of these old habits. Especially buying duplicates even when I don't need the level, and then losing with a bunch of pets who have 1/3 of 2/3 experience. Lmao, I also always try to utilize synergies, but sometimes that's just in an attempt to have more fun, which I'm glad you addressed. Great video, nice job
2:18 ngl, I'm still guilty of that lol Edit: 2:52 and also that, albeit it works for me somehow. In the hall of fame there's always a Tier 1 or 2 animal; usually a fish, ant, or mosquito. My guess is that I'm good capitalizing on their high stats to gain an early 50/50 (more or less)
They aren't wrong, if you get lucky on turn 3/4 with a ton of rat's in shop you can build a lv2 rat and if you can go into a hippo you can cheese some very fast wins. But like Horse/Cricket strats they fall off hard, it's not as good as rat players say but the pet isn't useless anymore.
hi! I usually combine otters directly because if you upgrade an otter directly from the shop, it triggers the level 2 ability instead, and gives a +2/+2 buff. Also so that the buff does not land on the otter itself. So I should definitely combine the second otter directly - but the first one could've been bought separately. It depends on if the temporary +1 from the horse is worth the risk of the otter buff landing on itself. I wasn't really considering that since I usually just autopilot and combine otters directly
Thank you for all your guides-v helpful-could u consider making a guide about how many hours it takes to get good-and adress a problem i have constantly which is that i constantly lose when im one win away-idk how to build my middle game better but ive sunk 200 hours into the game love it but have only won twice in 200 hours is that normal? @blueberryPieper
I love how I went from doing these things to being good at the game then back to being bad cause I'm addicted to memeing
no meming is much more important
Your guides are very detailed and easy to understand. I hope you get algorithm luck and your videos get more views.
Comments are good for the algorithm
Well it worked.... just got this recommended.
Overall great video but I was kinda disappointed u missed out the one key mistake: buying and trusting dogs 😔
ooohhh boy you'll really enjoy my next video then :)
Haha the dog is very loyal tho if anything

Honestly the perfect SAP beginner guide 👍🏻
Tysm this helped a lot. ALSO OMORI MUSIC IN BACKGROUND! (I might like the game)

50/50 goose is allways on my side
This dude: Begginer mistakes to avoid in super auto pets.
Me: No I don't think I will.
Your last tip reminds me of all the rat players now saying its so good because it has synergies. No sweaty, its still bad
Good for trying hard mode vs new player xD

decent until it hits a turkey
Funfact: After that video i placed my strongest Units in front, changing old units faster.... i won with 10/10 hp in turn 11 without a lose xD TY
You get 10/10 hp victories by luck, not by skill.
Thanks for explanation. Nice info! 🥰😎
Really good and helpful video :)
I always buy can food, idk if its a mistake but somethign about it just ticks on me.
For The Algortihm💪 great Video
"Don't go on auto-pilot."
Ironic.
This dude training us cause we’re all too bad
You had a horse and combined 2 otters, could have got the extra attack for a turn

I think I've seen you on twitch:)
Putting your strongest unit in the second row is better bc you wont get one shot by scorpions
i always put my good units second in case of scorpions
Nice use of OMORI music
Bruh the earlier game animal I faced mosquito had like 50atk at the mid game
Commenting for the Algorithm
👍👍👍
