Cant wait to see what you get in the summer time. I have just recently heard that now is the time to start planting your strawberries. I wouldn’t mind trying this myself. 😊

Hi mate, yes now is a good time to plant dormant strawberries. I've ordered some better varieties to fill rest of the spots.

Where do you order your strawberry plants from?

Daley's nursery or Greenpatch Seeds. Both online

Nice desi, maybe you would only need some drain holes at the low end, that way the water has to work its way through all the strawberry plants. I've always struggled growing strawberries in the ground as well.

Hi Doug, that was the original idea but I wasn't sure if a few holes near the lower side would be enough. For now, drainage holes start halfway towards the lower side.

You should put another star picket in the middle and you should put more holes in the top and plant more strawberries in there, they dont need to be that far apart from each other. Anyway that's my opinion good luck with the harvest

Hi, I'll try to go super dense next time. Now I already have 6 x 3m pipes with all these strawberries. I'll not be making new pipes anytime soon :)
