That’s what I always do. Anytime I prep vegetables for us I keep a bowl of skins and leftover for my buns. And when the plants are done I give them to my rabbits. When the yard is tall with grass I put them in a cage where they help mow lol.
Great Information.I have a question. When you feed pellets I was told to give 4 oz.Is that by weight or volume? I have New Zealands and Californians. And if I feed them other greens should I cut back on the feed?
As far as pellet quantities it depends on the feed type and the individual animal. I use the recommendations from the feed tag as a starting point. I feed pellets at night. If there is any left at the next feeding time I cut ack a little. If the rabbits are ready to break out of the cage then I feed a little more. I feed hay/greens/ fodder in the morning. If you are feeding a lot of greens or hay then they will eat less pellets

I love your channel but I wish you were on Rumble. Any chance you’ll be posting your videos on Rumble as well?
I've never heard of it, I will look into it.
I read spinach is bad for rabbits?
I have never had any issues.
Do you process rabbits for other people
That's a legal gray area where I live. I will charge people for lessons on how to process their rabbit at their place using their rabbit.
