Never have I clicked on a video so quick posted by a metal musician (luv it) Recently got my hands thavas and this combo saved my ass to watch fights. I use mitros and i wanna know what's the difference, both is a +1 and mitros can call.
In an ideal situation, Mitros is the best starter. However, control decks are just stupid so you can't really use Mitros because he just dies before he even does his job.
Here's a crazy Megiddo combo for you. Needs 5 unflipped CB and 1 soul, as well as a main phase way of I flipping damage. Galfilia requires an extra soul. This deck assumes you run 6-8 Crit and 6-4 Draw. To maximise the chance of this happening, run 4 Supersonic Sailor. Stride Megiddo, use Thavas' on-stride to call Melania behind Megiddo, then use Megiddo to call Tidal and Bubble Edge (from drop zone) to front row and 2 Orthia behind them. Use Bubble edge's skill on Tidal, call Supersonic Sailor if you need to, if not call Shipra. If you used Supersonic Sailor, call Shipra afterwards. Going into battle phase with 4 unflipped CB and 2 soul. In battle phase, attack with Megiddo first, put all triggers on Tidal, then attack with Shipra unboosted, CB1 to draw. Attack with Melania in back row, CB to draw. 4th attack, attack unboosted with tidal, 1 draw off Bubble Edge. Restand, attack boosted with Orthia, 1 draw off Bubble Edge. Use Orthia to restand Tidal, then use Megiddo skill to switch Tidal with Shipra. Attack with Tidal boosted by Orthia, 1 draw off Bubble Edge. Use Orthia to restand Tidal, soul blasting the Bubble Edge. Attack unboosted with Tidal, 1 draw off Bubble Edge. So that was it, used up 6 CB and 2 soul. What for? Well, you can officially say you drew 4 cards off Bubble Edge's skill! That's got to be worth something. By using Shipra and Melania, you'll also have drawn 6 cards to survive their Zeroth Dragon, and have Bubble Edge back in the drop zone so you can do the same Megiddo combo next turn. Just kidding!
You turned AqF into OTT??? Bro your knowledge of this clan is incredible. I consistently find myself happy I subscribed to you. You're definitely my favorite Vanguard RUclipsr and the one I respect the opinion of most.
Thank you! I feel like the star gate booster is nowhere near as game changing as the boosters before it. But we'll have to wait and see... Maybe some crazy JP results prove otherwise :P
Solemn Vanguard hmm.... Have you seen cosmic hero grandscout? Combo him with stark and it's a 100k vg that can attack thrice. If that's not insane.... I don't know what is.
You can use stark in dimension police gallop deck Break ride Bravest Viktor, Grandgallop on original saver zero then stride stark you will have a vanguard with 60k power (13k heart 25k g unit 12k with heart's skill and 10k with original saver zero ) Then call Cosmic Hero, Grandscout use its skill to double vg's power you will have a 120k vanguard at minimum ignoring all other rg's skill with those it can get 150k Then you can attack 3 times with such a heavy vanguard Don't forget your 3 drives Your opponent will be toast
I started playing aqua force recently and I love it, but 2 things confuse me about the kagero matchup. Bubble edge is gonna get sniped pretty quick. Is it better to use him as soon as you can and be thankful if you get even the 1 draw and a soul off of him. Or is it better to accept his fate and keep using him to boost and MAYBE if they don't pop him you can get your 3+ draw? And, if a unit attacks and then it gets denial griffined does that still count as another wave because you declared the attack? Or no because the attack was never actually made?
Luckily, Alexandros doesn't need to restand something... You could simply swing with Petros+Melania at vg, then Alexandros, choose Melania+Adelaide, Mela restands but both get power. Give Mela and Ade +5k, then atk with Mela and get your draw, finally double-swing with Ade and get your double draw. Alexandros allows this kind of play with ease :)
I think it would be cool to see how you deal with certain matchups that are usually quite tough. It looks like Gredora will be a pain in the ass for this deck, so would love to learn how you would fight against control decks like that and chaos.
What is the deckouting situation with this draw heavy deck? Do you see yourself thining the deck often? do you have enought to survive onslaughts of retires (super retires: bypass resist)? What is the most massive change in playstyle while playing the other beatdown version? What separates playing aqua force from other clans who stand their rears and even vg for example nova grappler and what are the versatility of the deck going throw these "almost" mirror matches?
- I don't deckout. Alexandros kills fast enough to not let that happen 99% of the time. Thavas is so versatile you can always start playing aggro so if you drew SO much that you'd deck out, it means you have enough resources to stop playing defensively and just destroy them with an aggressive Alex turn. - I wouldn't call it deck-thinning since it's not like you search out non-triggers actively. You don't skew your deck ratios. - I usually have multiple copies of everything I need in hand. - Onslaught of retires? What deck out right now destroys a whole board that bypasses resist? Regardless, I always have copies of everything I need. - The most massive change in playstyle compared to the beatdown version, is that with the beatdown version, your opponent gaining trigger-luck or ANY kind of resource momentum, will lose you the game. If they play overlord and manage to survive you for a second, then deplete your field, your hand will be gone VERY quickly. If you don't draw into a PG soon enough, you WILL die or have to over-extend guard with hand, setting you up for a loss. The same happens against Gredora. The Purge and Overwhelm are insanely good resource-cards. So all you can do with the beatdown version is blindly Alexandros every turn and rush for your life. - Current NG pales in comparison to Aqua Force because the control matchup fucks the shit out of NG, whilst Thavas gives 0 fucks. Meanwhile, Thavas draws so fucking much that you don't really "peter out" either. Thavas allows you to switch from defense to aggro and back VERY easily and you usually have outs to everything. The amount of plays you can make in any given situation is huge. Nova just has to attack, attack, attack, attack and hope for the best. - In a match against NG, you just out-resource them.
Hey great vid! Wld the first combo work with saberflow instead of shipra? U cld get 2 draws as well and without the 2 cb despite having 1 less atk than with shipra
- I will probably do an updated Valeos deck profile sometime soon :) - Tackling Overlord with Thavas = win fucking hard. The amount of resist, plussing and gigantic snowballing attacks destroys them. If you give your resists intelligently and keep plussing so you always draw into PGs to stop Purge, you should be good. - Tackling Overlord with Valeos = you don't. End of story. Valeos sucks ass against Chaos, Overlord and Gredora. There is no solution for it. Being the better player always helps, but 2 well-built decks piloted by 2 good players? Overlord will win unless triggersacking happens.
I just got beaten by the beautiful AqF. Lol I was using Chaos at that time and he was using Maelstrom because I don't have a heal and this guy countered my moves. Why is Maelstrom not topping though?
i only run 6 thavas grade 3s (4x supreme ruler and 2x one who surpasses) and sometimes i run into grade stuck problem only at grade 3. question: should i run 7 grade 3 thavas instead??
I would suggest a 7th G3. G Assisting can hurt Thavas a lot. And you don't want to be doing that in a crucial matchup in a big event. I did 5 G3s in Nightrose last year in a spring BCS. Before the event, I didn't have a problem. During the event I had issues in 3-4 rounds. Just depends if you draw into it.
You'll generally just win :P Galfilia fucks them up. Always flip Galfilia up with Alexandros. Don't flip her 24/7 because you might sometimes need her in key moments.
Can't steal CB if you use it all in 1 turn :'DD Then get some CC by: - taking damage - healing and taking damage - Perfect guarding - G guarding and using the heal skill - Galfilia to unflip - Supersonic Sailor It's quite alright ;)
Because: - the restand is free so you don't waste CB in a very CB heavy deck - losing 5k does nothing once you start stacking power on him - you could rush early game with him
Huh, after watching this video... I guess Bubble edge for Thavas is like Chrono Dran for ZTB. *In a sense that they generate draw power early on in the match.
Mitros is a way closer match to Dran, but I do agree the first stride with bubble edge closely resembles the first stride with dran and metapulsar pegasus as far as advantage goes.
Solemn Vanguard Yeah, that analogy is what I was going for. Since youre more likely to use Dran to draw cards rather than fetch out Jet like Mitros does with Thavas.
Man I'm new to Vanguard and someone invited me to play the G format, so now I'm here printing proxy and watching a 5 yo video for combos. What is my life 🤣🤣
Yes. That's exactly what I said. Everything is situational. You only do things when they make sense. You can easily not use Shipra-draw or only use her once. You do that move if you know you got CC ready or you know you'll need the hand next turn.
Aqua Force is my favorite clan. I don't "promote" anything. I make deck profiles and discussion videos about what interests me. I could never bring myself to give a fuck about Neo Nectar, Narukami or something like that... So that's something you won't see me talk about unless they're relevant in the meta and people need help getting around them.
This is the true Aqua force clan leader!!!!
lol, thank you ;D
Very true
I woke up 5 mintutes ago and my favorite Vanguardo RUclipsr posts my favorite deck also good job
Thank you! :D
Just got my Thavas deck a few days ago so this video is like the best thing I can encounter.
Haha awesome :D Enjoy!
Notification Squad! Let's go!! #AquaLife 😎🌊
YESSSS

Marvin Dela Merced yea, i tend to stride second which is annoying

This is really helpful seeing as Im just picking up thavas and have no idea how the deck works, thanks!
Awesome! Have fun with it :D
GIVE IT TO ME DADDY
YASSSS
DifferentFight you need jesus lol
Love your videos as usual. Now that the star gate booster is almost out.... What are your thoughts on it? I would love to see a video on it.
Thank you! I feel like the star gate booster is nowhere near as game changing as the boosters before it. But we'll have to wait and see... Maybe some crazy JP results prove otherwise :P

GateWay To Awesomeness exactly
.... They need to nerf that grandscout..... It's insane.
Ben Paul Ikr
I know Maelstrom is not a popular deck, but will you guys be releasing any videos for them?
So I traded away my thavas deck a while ago watching this makes me wanna get thavas back
You are awesome man 👍
Thank you! Thavas 4 life ;)
Solemn Vanguard yeah !!!
I started playing aqua force recently and I love it, but 2 things confuse me about the kagero matchup.

Can you do a video on attack combo if my opponent does not have any rear guards (like going against pale moon or granblue), please?? ^_^

Will thavas still be tier 1 after zoo? and what do you think will happen to overlords and thavas come set 14?
Please do a ztb combo video
You are great!
There combos looks fun and brutal
I am thinking of making a thavas deck now, but why didn't you use stand triggers in your deck??
Vedant Sharma you stand so much you dont need stands
What is the deckouting situation with this draw heavy deck?

Is there a second combos video comin?
Hey great vid! Wld the first combo work with saberflow instead of shipra? U cld get 2 draws as well and without the 2 cb despite having 1 less atk than with shipra
Yes, it does :) As I said: it's all situation-dependent. The deck is very versatile.
Do you intend to make a video with blue wave combos?
Yes :)
Solemn Vanguard yay :)
At first i hated this deck. Thanks to u i really like it
Well done, I really needed this video thanks a lot
Can u make a list of all the cards in this deck
Can we see one of these or Valeos/Blue Waves?
How many bubble edge should i use
Was drunk reading this and made more sense than when i was sober.
Clarify.
Can you do what Gold needs to be competitive after the thavas combos explained?
Would appreciate if you could make a dragonic vanquisher deck profile
Plz show some combos on ztb
where you get the playmat from???
Will you be doing a updated valeos deck profile? Also how do you tackle the kagero overlord match up?
- I will probably do an updated Valeos deck profile sometime soon :)
- Tackling Overlord with Thavas = win fucking hard. The amount of resist, plussing and gigantic snowballing attacks destroys them. If you give your resists intelligently and keep plussing so you always draw into PGs to stop Purge, you should be good.

Solemn Vanguard so sad how true it is...... I've never won against thavas with Kouen.
thanks for the awesome video how about doing tips and combos for overlord and a deck profile aswell really need advise solemn
Can you do a combo video for blue wave Val
I just got beaten by the beautiful AqF. Lol I was using Chaos at that time and he was using Maelstrom because I don't have a heal and this guy countered my moves. Why is Maelstrom not topping though?
More combo videos for thavas please!
i only run 6 thavas grade 3s (4x supreme ruler and 2x one who surpasses) and sometimes i run into grade stuck problem only at grade 3. question: should i run 7 grade 3 thavas instead??
I only run 6 and don't really have such problems. 1 grade 3 extra won't change a lot.
Just depends if you draw into it.
are you allowed to swing at your opponent if your attack is less then theirs?
Yes :)
I like your vids
Thank you!
plzzzzzzzzzzzz do a ztb combo
Right
Why nobody does this with tachikaze...
wait how did you get plus 35 on that last combo?
never mind i apparently cant read lol good videe keep up the good work
Any suggestions for going against chaos?
You'll generally just win :P Galfilia fucks them up.
Always flip Galfilia up with Alexandros. Don't flip her 24/7 because you might sometimes need her in key moments.
can u do one for overlord?
This is a great video you should post more of these but maybe other decks such as thunder strike or overlord
Just got my playmat, and oh boy is it big! I can finally space my cards apart lol
Awesome :D
Nice video amigo!
would't this deck get absolutely demolished by gredora's cb ability?
Can't steal CB if you use it all in 1 turn :'DD
Then get some CC by:
- taking damage
- healing and taking damage
- Perfect guarding
- G guarding and using the heal skill
- Galfilia to unflip
- Supersonic Sailor
It's quite alright ;)
could you plz send me a decklist of it?
This is the deck: ruclips.net/video/Hb8N_G1DH3E/видео.html
Tidal skill is after you attack on that battle you must restand him. Why did you not restand tidal
Because you attack a rear guard with him. Not a vanguard.
If he attacks a rear guard, he's not forced to restand.
U should b the clan leader of aqua force
I'm kinda new to thavas so I have a question why do people run tidal he loses 5k when he restands
Because:
- the restand is free so you don't waste CB in a very CB heavy deck
- losing 5k does nothing once you start stacking power on him
- you could rush early game with him
Solemn Vanguard oh I see thanks
cool combo i wish i could do the same
Huh, after watching this video... I guess Bubble edge for Thavas is like Chrono Dran for ZTB.
*In a sense that they generate draw power early on in the match.
Daniel Victor uuuuummm no. Mitros is literally the same thing as Chrono Dran
manofthehour1806 I meant theyre the same in a sense that they generate draw power early on in the match.
Valeos combos please
nice combo works going on here :)
Thanks! :)
Man I'm new to Vanguard and someone invited me to play the G format, so now I'm here printing proxy and watching a 5 yo video for combos. What is my life 🤣🤣
Niceeeeeeee :3
ty ;D
More Thavas combossssss plsssssss
Hello
Hi :)
The first combo is so counterblast heavy
Yes. That's exactly what I said. Everything is situational. You only do things when they make sense. You can easily not use Shipra-draw or only use her once.
You do that move if you know you got CC ready or you know you'll need the hand next turn.
Yah I know but I don’t use thavas so it doesn’t affect me ahhahahahahahaha
I use messiah
Integral DABZZZZ
Hardcore aqf player, yay!
Yup!
Part 2
That kid make plays!
;)
Sorry I have to disagree on Aqua having versatility. Granblue has the most versatile playstyle besides Gear Chronicles
I never said it was the most versatile...? But Thavas is VERY versatile.
Alexandros.dek with their GR Zone
I feel like this channel promotes a lot of Aqua Force. I wanna See other stuff
Aqua Force is my favorite clan. I don't "promote" anything. I make deck profiles and discussion videos about what interests me.

No love to maelstrom these days. Feels bad
