Tuker should have given them 50 k for 100% and then 5% royalty. However the 50 k to them personally. I wonder why they didnt counter that. It is obvious they are not good at selling etc. so it would have been great for them
Touker's offer was absurd if that money stays in the company. He was effectively offering to buy the patent, which the couple deserve to be paid for. $50k in their pocket plus the royalty would have been quite a fair deal considering their low sales.
If they took his offer, it was guaranteed money for the rest of their lives. Also the salaries he offered might have been quite generous indeed. With Sarah's offer, it was a gamble if the product would break even or not.
@@bekindtoanimals2189 lol you think the product would go on to sell for the next 50 years in a quantity that would make 5% mean anything? The salaries would have been no more than 50k pa for 2 years max, absolute best case scenario.

Get in touch with some mum influencers and chuck them a few grand to try them out.
33% would of been the right amount
They had a company making a loss and Touker offered them tens of thousands per year with no effort and 10% when he sells up, which would be hundreds of thousands. The people saying it was a bad offer simply don't understand the basics of business.

Funny that they mentioned the smell of fish. I had purchased a shirt from Shopko years ago and it stunk so bad of fish I had to take it back to the store and the clerk held her nose because she thought it stunk also. I was made in CHINA. Go figure, what?? Do they wash the clothes in the river??
I read an article about fast fashion from China, they tested the clothing ordered and all the items had traces of toxic dyes and other chemicals from fixative agents. Lead, formaldehyde, pthalates and stuff. It's definitely worth washing it first.
