You dont get it bud, I was deeply engrossed on this game even after a week i've done with it, of course I will never forget it, it held a special place in my heart, I went doing more readings about the theory behind the games, all those quantum mechanics stuffs and you know the events that relate this game to the older games, and for sure life goes on, there's so many things to do, so you'd think I would be thinking about this the whole time all along? of course I wont, but to forget this game? never
This game is art. I finished about two months and still thinking about it in my daily life. It’s so inspiring and heart touching, depressive, but art is not always happy. This game is art.
I notice a resemblance to Schönberg's "Verklärte Nacht", a symphonic poem about a girl who confesses to his man that she brings a child, but not from him; and he forgives her accepting the child and deciding to raise him as his.
My mom has no idea what bioshock is, but I remember playing this song without headphones one day a few years back, and now she just loves this song. Absolutely adores it. Maybe one day I'll get her to watch a playthru of the game
Niall Quinn Hm, maybe. I can't really tell. This kind of music are just a emotional thing: With what do you connect the soundtrack and what feelings do you have. They might have played TLOU and find it quite emotionally, when they hear it. So BioShock, If I listen to that Soundtrack, Im literally in the game, see Booker and Elizabeth rolling together and its just beautiful.
DeadKey Ive played both. Let me say its nothing to do with connection to the characters or games. Its as simple as when comparing both games soundtracks and music. TLOU went for the typical generic dramatic apoclypse music. While Bioshock creates there own genre of music. I mean just look at the first Bioshock game as well. That evem has its own style of 1950s themed music. Practically. I think Bioshock (Or though is still really well known has hot praise) is underrated.
personally, it's my fav bioshock game. But I also think it'd be cool if they hid the fact that it was part of the bioshock world so the rapture reveal at the end would be even more surprising IMO
It is a Bioshock game, but it's very different from 1 and 2. Much better storytelling, and presentation, much more fast paced combat, but less exploration and less RPG elements and less decision making when it comes to combat. I like it just like the first game, but I can understand why some people were disappointed.
@@kabeltelevizio I agree on everything BUT the storytelling. Really? Bruh lmfao. Why did (male) Luttece go to Comstock of all people? And why did he bring Comstock into female Luttece's world (I assume that's how it went, the game says female Luttece first made contact, but the game never clarifies the rest like most of the stuff)? Why did they want to kill him at the airship at the end even though they understood there is an infinite amount of universes full of him? Why did Booker try to fulfill the deal with Fitzroy 2 dimension jumps later? Why did Booker at the lighthouses in the end with Elizabeth speak of going back in time, smothering Comstock as a baby even though he understood by then that HE is Comstock? And again to kill him when there is INFINITE of him? How did Booker not remember selling Anna? And WTF were the twins doing the whole game (at the beginning on the boat, the heads and tails game, the bird or cage choice-pointless BTW etc.)?! None of this makes sense. Also the game was SJW before that was a thing.
@@bazookaboss332 i meant storytelling not story. The plot of Bioshock 1 is by far the best one, but the storytelling is not that great, with audiologs and speaker messages and obscure items. Most of the story happens off screen. In Infinite the player is part of the story much more so the storytelling is better more involved.
If you pay attention the music tells her story, starts kinda sad, then it rises up, then doubt, then rises once again and ends up sad, Elizabeth was such a great character and a hero, once she understood everything she put everyone else over herself.
Ive always been obsessed with the bioshock series since it came out. But Infinite has me. An this song along with few other make my heart melt an tears burn my eyes. I already have a full bioshock sleeve planned out for a tattoo. 💕
This game came into my mind when watching shutter island. It has a lot of similarities including a main character who thinks he has a simple job but ends up in a much bigger thing. And also both games got me sick
I love this series so much, it’s one of my favourite beloved mains. I feel bad for Elisabeth and lady comstock. ❤️❤️❤️this game and the whole series really impacts me so much.
I had this game on ps3, never really played it because I was addicted to other games. Then I bought it in 2016 for PC, it was on my steam account until december 2020. then finally played it and I wanted to punch myself for that I did not play it before. I am in a deep shame. You have the right to spit on me guys
I took a moment in the game and thought how amazing this would look on the next gen. God I hope 2k is working on a sequel. Also, this theme got me into playing violin
I bought this game 5€ years after everyone in a market in a village completely by an hazardous decision.... Now it's one of my favourite... What a beautiful discovery, as if it was destiny...
So in the final dlc, Elizabeth Manages to eradicate Booker/Comstock from every known universe in Bioshock, does that mean Elizabeth herself in every universe seizes to exist?
Nope bc, she did not eradicate the one booker whi did not sell her, so 1 booker and elizabeth are still oit there just not the ones from the game and no colmstocks
Had some friends who didn't like this game. they also didn't like Dark Souls, hating the difficulty for difficulty's sake, but enjoyed the original Ninja Gaiden? Friends no longer.
She was kinda stupid going back to Rapture... and also killing Booker twice.... the man who stole her trapped her wasnt the Booker she killed... he was her father and above her friend and Rapture Booker was also her friend... she betrayed them and killed em..yet Big Daddy killed her too cause karma... even when i love Elizabeth she let the hate overcome her and made many mistakes that led to her ruin... u, _ u
no any other games makes me stuck thinking about it for whole another week after finishing it, no other!! this game is a masterpiece!!
another week? lol I finished it years ago and still think about it

Play Inside dude. You'll think about it for longer..
A couple tears after beating burial at sea episode 2 and i still go on three day long obsessions with the story
I notice a resemblance to Schönberg's "Verklärte Nacht", a symphonic poem about a girl who confesses to his man that she brings a child, but not from him; and he forgives her accepting the child and deciding to raise him as his.
Same key!!! So glad I wasn't the only one to notice this!!!
Similar theme to the game.
Wow I thought similar too. I think comstock is bit of a tragic character
Wow, I'd like to have your knowledge because I love the song you spoke about. Thank you for sharing.
opening is not a resemblance its a knockoff

3 Years now... I am always finding my way back to this Masterpiece.
Yeah, I find it sad that people think music from TLOU beats this...

Friend:What kind of music do you listen to?
Me: its complicated.
I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end with this game. True masterpiece.
This is a story.
This is a triumph.
This is a success.
Thank you, Bioshock: Infinite.
For the right to experience.
Absolute masterpiece.
Nice liking your own comment (I do the same)
@@OswinPondcringe ( i do too )
Despite what you think of the game, this is by far the best bioshock score
I wouldn't say by far but yes
It made me cry. I also agree 💖😭✨
@Mr7Reality cant forget Cohen's Masterpiece

I replayed this game for the second time.. finished it today... Even though i knew how it ends.. i still cried...
Same.

Every once in a while i come back to this piece having let it drift away from me, and every time it knocks the wind out of me.
This game came into my mind when watching shutter island. It has a lot of similarities including a main character who thinks he has a simple job but ends up in a much bigger thing.

Constants and variables.
Elizabeth deadass tried to teach us math
@@tahaanwar5577 Math?? Lol don't think so my friend
Levi Kim Joke flew right over your head dude...
Constans... Ahaha nice one, and noone notices your wordplay, sad, sad
I can hear a blend in there, some parts repeating while others overlap... I can tell this was edited. Nice work.
Yes, the original is fairly short.
You could even call it constants and variables in the music
This hits me right where it hurts...
Elizabeth the most beautiful woman in all the Bioshock Saga
In all of videogaming. This game is truly a masterpiece
The prophet disliked this video.
FALSE ! Even he fell in love for it. But his alternate self were pissed off that one of them liked good music so they disliked it.
Ah. Makes perfect sense.
Dislikes, disliked, will dislike
This game is an artwork
This is a genuine masterpiece!
I made the grievous mistake of finishing this game on the same weekend I saw Arrival. I had a headache for a week straight.
My favourite bioshock game by far, i love 1 and 2 but this one was special
i replayed this game 3 times in just one month lmao
One of my favorite ever gaming masterpieces by geniuses who composed it. Never gets old.
I love this series so much, it’s one of my favourite beloved mains. I feel bad for Elisabeth and lady comstock. ❤️❤️❤️this game and the whole series really impacts me so much.
I FINALLY FOUND IT AFTER YEARS AGAIN I AM GONNA CRY
It has been years and I still loving this game ❤
Beatiful music.

A perfect track from a great game.
There’s always a man
There’s always s city
There’s always a lighthouse
This opening sounds EXACTLY like Schoenberg's Verklärte Nacht!!! Same key and everything! Woah!!!

perfecto el juego, la musica... todo...
my heart aches
That ending.... Elizabeth why....... im so broken after burial at sea
Whatever you say but Ken Levine is an underrated story teller.
Old, but gold
