So… how do you feel about WHITE? Personally, I love it, and that seemed to be the overwhelming response at SEMA… but the short I posted from SEMA had a LOT of mixed feelings!
I'm here from episode one. From the "honda swap a ferrari?!" to "this will be one of the best builds ever". You are a real talent!! You deserve it! Keep up the good work! Greetings from Romania
Haha, same here! I was watching with dread but very quickly became deeply impressed by the engineering and how well this thing was thought out. Deeply impressive work @stanceworks.
Watching from Europe together with some members of my family (grandpa, dad, brothers and sons) we all use to watch US shows like Teutul family of customs bikers, Chip Foose design & customizing cars show, West Coast Customs, up to modern periods of 'B is for Build, ''Throtl... So we can tell that Mike is one of very few modern skilled, gifted & talented guy to modify & craft such a cool project car in such cool way... That is why we love every episode of this build ! ;0)
Lol when I first saw a video title a while back I was like "what the hell is this...."... took 5 minutes of the video, it changed to "holy hell, this is amazing". The k motor really fits the bill here.
This is the stuff that makes the heart full. While I'm positive the feeling of unveiling the car at the show was an incredible feeling that can't be replicated, I think seeing you shoot the car at sunset back in California after the chaos had to be an extreme moment of bliss. Staring at the car that you've just dedicated at least 10,000hrs+ of your life into in a natural setting, at sunset, by yourself, with your camera; HAD to be the most emotional side of this project. Nothing quite like it. Love you Mike!! So excited to see where this car/channel takes you from here.
White is perfect. Contrasts so brilliantly with the black carbon fiber. Normally I'm not a fan of taking an old classic and redoing it into something that it never was, but your vision for this 308 is stupendous. I'm not sold on the sound of a four banger, but I'm sure that once your engine tune is set its performance will override that. Superb work.
The white is so good. Also so very impressed you completed the last 10% in 9 days. That in itself is incredible. I can't wait to see where the build goes with less time constraints. I know it will be an epic work in progress, as they should be!
The white shows the exhaust residue pretty well. It also seems like it is predominantly more on one exhaust tip versus the other. Would you recommend some tips that would help keep the wrap in good shape and add to the overall look?
My wet dream is to see this with on board cameras, on tracks all around the world, improving lap times, getting upgrades, being tested by drivers... the difference between a shelf queen and a true performance machine is huge and what many RUclips projects actually lack. Thanks for the content, mad respect.
I just gotta say it again. The attention to details on your build Mike is insane. Kudos to you my dude. Best build to be at SEMA not only but I have to say of 2022. Been watching for a long time. Congrats brother.
Truly incredible Mike. In 700 days not only have you created one of the greats of custom/performance builds, you’ve gone from RUclips neophyte to the Gold Standard, and as a one-man-show you should be so incredibly proud of both. Congrats mate, what you’ve done is epic. Excited to continue watching!
Not only was the episode such a fulfillment to watch but everyone here in the comments sharing such gratitude brought so much enlightenment to me. This was an incredible 30 hours to have witnessed and many MANY more hours to come. I give my props to you Mike for setting off the inspiration we all need.
The part about chasing that "first drive" high is something I really connect with. It's one of the best parts of a build. Great job getting this one going and congrats to your team for the effort.
Dude, I have NO IDEA who you are. I guess I've been living under a rock. But if I can say, which probably doesn't mean much as I am a nobody but, DUDE this is BEAUTIFUL! The way you speak about the build, had me borderline in tears. This is the passion that I wish all Car Culture Content Creators and Builders had. You earned my sub. You earned my Like. You earned my comment. I wish I had more to offer you than just a thumbs up and a fist bump, but I can promise to keep my eyes on your channel and recommend you to anyone needing inspiration for completing their build or better yet, trying to accomplish anything in life that they didn't think they could. Great Job man. Thanks for sharing this moment with all of us and I guess it's time for me to travel back in time and start this build from video 1 so I can feel like I was there the entire time. Thanks for giving me 30hrs of video commitments. Who needs Netflix or Hulu when you have content like this!? Thanks again and can't wait to see it evolve!
That is simply magnificent. It looks like it’s doing 200mph just sitting there. It’s all come together exceptionally well. Can’t wait to see it fettled and running around a track.
Thanks for bringing us along for this ride! I have really enjoyed watching your humble nature at work. A lot of other builders would never talk about having to re-make control arms as much but honestly, that made me enjoy this stuff more. I can't imagine the hours and hours of editing you have done to put out all these episodes but I know it was more than you may have ever thought. Foer being "new" to RUclips, dude you knocked it out of the park! The awards were very well deserved and any praise you received as well. A lot of folks have no idea how difficult it is to produce quality content but many of your followers do. Sincerely, thank you. P.S. I also enjoyed the little quips under your names of many of the videos, those were funny. Take care and I will keep watching. Paul.
I followed you on this journey. I watch every single episode and it was almost like I was there in the shop watching it. I saw the struggles with the hood, the brackets which had to be done over and over, the ideas, the alterations... It was amazing and the result is absolutely brilliant. If I might suggest, and I do it reluctantly because you did such an amazing job, I would change the mirrors to a more 'rounder' version and the rear diffusor a bit less sticking out, but that's just nitpicking and my personal opinion. Speaking of personal opinion... The white is amazing and you shouldn't switch back to yellow 😉 Absolutely gorgeous car and and outstanding job. The attention to detail and finish are top notch. Well done sir!
This has been an amazing effort, and love it or not, the end result is very commendable (I personally like it). It's easy to gloss over exactly how much goes into not only re-imagining a car, but basically re-engineering it from the ground up. Major respect, Mike.
Absolutely beautiful.!!!!! When we were at SEMA I had to see this master piece at least 3 times a day. Lost track of time just checking it out every time I passed by it.
It’s been a long time coming and I cannot put into words how happy and proud of you for finally completing this insane build. As a long time viewer, subscriber and patreon, I can’t help but feel really involved with the 244 GTK and I’m sure I speak for a lot of people. With your amazingly filmed and produced videos, that’s the magic you’ve done here Mike and you deserve every recognition for it. Once again congrats on the finished build. Excited for more stuff from you!!
So stoked for ya cuz. Each ep has been eagerly awaited and a weekly highlight in our household. Thanks so much for bringing us along. It's been a pleasure and a privilege to share in it. Amped for whatever you have planned. We're all in. Thanks again
This Hondrari will easily kill the 288 GTO, F40, 458 Speciale. If the suspension is properly sorted 488 Pista better move over. Hats off from Auto RacingTechnik Indonesia!
White looks amazing. It always does because it contrasts and highlights everything else so well. The white rotiforms were the icing on the cake. Just a beauty of craftsmanship and a big middle finger to Ferrari who love to sue anybody that messes with their "image". Well done.
Well I wasn't sold on the wing aesthetically (I know it has a purpose) but the colour set it off. Its looks amazing! Still think you should run the pop ups with a shallower throw/profile! Really like the white
I wasn't sure about the aero part, especially the big wing. But all in all, it looks amazing. Can't wait to hear it run on a track and see what upgrades it's getting
Literally just stumbled across this tonight and I'm blown away! This thing is soooooo SICK!!!! Awesome build and I'll definitely be watching the rest of the series in due time!!
Just found your channel and thank you Lord! 30 hours of build that starts now thank you sir. Can't wait till the refinement of this project reaches its finish point. It's going to be a work of art.
Having both this car and Rob Dahms car “finished” and driving into the show on their own power made this sema seem like something special. You guys did an amazing job
God dang this was so worth the wait. The white looks phenomenal, the aero pkg, the stance, the engine… everything. I can’t imagine what the “sema push” was like, but wow. Well done man, this has been the best build on YT for the past two years, full stop. I can’t wait to see what you do next…
Just finished my 30 hour journey, took only a couple weeks and loved every second. Gave me lots of thoughts about what I might want to build further down the line, and how to inspire some of my current build!
This is truly one of the best built cars from this entire generation of builders that you're a part of. It's stunning and the way you communicated the process with your YT videos is world class. Can't wait for more of anything from Stanceworks!
My hat's off to you Mike. It's looks AMAZING. A tribute to your skill and patience and perseverance. Well worth the wait, and totally got that you had to make getting her ready for SEMA a priority! Well done mate. You can be rightly proud! 👏 👏 👏
I hate this is my first time seeing your car and channel but it got me hooked! Seeing that Amazing Car With All The Attention To EVERY DETAIL!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Congratulations On One Beautiful Build!!!
This is such an impressive build. I have always loved the Ferrari 308, and I have always wanted one and truly wanted to swap the engine with something. This is far beyond anything I was thinking, and you did such an amazing job! You deserve that trophy and more! Can't wait to see it fly around the track.
Huge congrats man! Really incredible what you accomplished and super cool to give props to the people that helped you get it done right at the end 👏🏻 Can’t wait for what comes next!
I'll be completely honest with you. At first, I didn't even know that this build existed. I saw it first on an Instagram post by the GOAT Larry Chen, and when I read the words "K24-Swap" and "Ferrari", I thought "what the heck. It's kinda criminal", because, you know.... typically, you don't put a JDM engine on a Ferrari 😅 But, I'll say this: this car is perfect. I love it. The swap gives it a unique character that can't be matched. Congratulations on the build, I can't wait to see more =)
You sir, have stepped onto soo many purist toes, but in doing so, you have created a beautiful work of automotive art. I mean, this car just had to be a Smokey Nagata-tribute with that Honda in it. This JDM-styled beast is in-cre-di-ble! Hats of to you and your fellow builders.
This is probably the only build I've ever seen that I don't want to change anything cosmetically. You absolutely nailed the looks of this in every way, my friend. The only mechanical change I'd suggest is lengthening the exhaust pipes a few inches so they don't burn the wrap/paint. Other than that, this car is flawless - white wrap and wheels included!
This Ferrari is my absolute favorite. There is something about this model that strikes me right. But, I had no idea my favorite could get any better. The white theme takes this to another level. The aero and engine are so well done. So many other good things to say. Well done!!
Well done!! Worth the wait!! I started watching your videos a few months ago while I was out of work with covid and there were many days where yout build videos were the highlight of my day. The attention to detail and how you kept the true essence of the Ferrari intact speak volumes, and makes this build a much higher caliber than most....
Man! I have followed almost all of your vids on this car, and I have to say, It. Is. Stunning! A beautiful piece of work. I wouldn’t even change the color back to yellow, but hey, it’s your ride! I am looking forward to seeing the shakedowns and improvements you make to it in the following months!
You're narrative voice is perfect, you could do Nat-Geo animal shows narrating family life of bears, big cats and even ground hogs. On top of that this build is smoking hot. I wasn't convinced through out the build but the final product is 100% beautiful. Can't wait to see what comes next for this build and others to come.
I've always loved the shape of the 308GTS, and my goodness did you absolutely nail it with those incredibly tasteful carbon body pieces. Absolutely stunning! Please leave it in white.
Well done, Mike. Yellow, white, black or purple. I don’t think it matters. This car would look great no matter what. Looking forward to more fine tuning of this car and your other projects.
This is such an incredible moment! I'm not gonna lie...I'm pretty emotional watching this video. What a journey...and it's just the beginning. Nothing but love and support for the channel. Keep up the amazing work so us mere mortals can live vicariously through you adventures.
Incredible. I'm closing in on a project a decade in the making and it will never amount to a fraction of this in terms of beauty, performance or otherwise perfection.
How have I missed this????? I’m on all kinds of car channels and pretty sure I seen part of the build a while ago but I have a memory disorder. I can’t wait to get caught up in this. This just so bad ass! Looks absolutely amazing! Keep it up!
ive binged this series for a week straight now basicly never skipping a video (apart from aarm saga lol) and the reveal being white kinda dulled it, but i get ur resoning why you did it. anyway great series i loved the tiniest of details on it and how much better it looks now, keep it up man
Holy crap!!! I spent the last 7 days watching this entire build!!! First off congratulations on this phenomenal, attention to detail, fit and finish build!! I would love to see this in person one day since I’m down by San Diego. Great work and enjoy this gem of a build!!
I LOVE THIS CAR. I don't think I've ever seen one that I like more. It's about as close that you can get to a 288 GTO feel without it actually being a 3 million dollar car. But to be fair, you took a 30k dollar Ferrari and made it worth about 300k. I can't wait till this car is fully completed and shook down on a track. Tuned and Dynoed. And ready for the streets. You need to get Larry Chan to do a proper photo shoot of it and get you some swag up for sale. This was an 80s poster car and now it can make a comeback as a 2020's poster car too. RWB... Eat your heart out.
When he says "It's as much your car as it is mine." I really get that. No joking. The "Energy" a follower gives a content maker \ broadcaster, is extremely hard to describe. I'm in the same boat with my motorsport journalism. I'm paid strictly by the reward of getting the story, and knowing there's people out there that enjoy it and cheer me on. And Mike gives as good as he gets and gave me the honour of interviewing him at SEMA. Mike you are an awesome builder. I'm not surprised, when you are in need, people show up to help. The story is never Done.
Ive watched every episode in this series over the last couple of weeks. Love the details, editing, passion etc. If only i could 'LIKE' a video twice! Great work!
What a build, seriously man I can’t even put into words what this car means to the viewers, definitely can’t imagine how you feel. You just motivated me to power wash my deck, impressive.
I currently own a 2013 civic si coup with the original hfp package. Anytime I see a video about a honda k24 swap I get excited! I'm barely hearing about this build. I look forward to seeing your upcoming videos. This build is wild!
well this video should have the option for us to give more them one tumbs up... I´ve been following this build since day one, its an amazing job, with an amizing "final" result, congratulations to you Mike!
This made me all teary. Thank you for sharing this journey with us. There's a real sense of pride that I feel having following this build for quite some time. Well earned my friend, well earned :)
So… how do you feel about WHITE? Personally, I love it, and that seemed to be the overwhelming response at SEMA… but the short I posted from SEMA had a LOT of mixed feelings!
The white looks great but I can’t help but miss the yellow
Didn't expect it, but it was definitely the right call in my opinion. Looks fresh!
For some reason I thought it was going to be yellow and black. But the white really looks great!!
While unexpected, it was a nice twist.
Body in white is the perfect vibe for this build. Very good choice in my opinion 👍🏻
I'm here from episode one. From the "honda swap a ferrari?!" to "this will be one of the best builds ever". You are a real talent!!
You deserve it!
Keep up the good work!

Crazy to think, I've been watching this car being built for 2 years...Congrats!
Incredible. I'm closing in on a project a decade in the making and it will never amount to a fraction of this in terms of beauty, performance or otherwise perfection.
One of the best car builds I have ever seen. You beyond crushed it. Thoroughly enjoyed watching you build it.
How have I missed this????? I’m on all kinds of car channels and pretty sure I seen part of the build a while ago but I have a memory disorder. I can’t wait to get caught up in this. This just so bad ass! Looks absolutely amazing! Keep it up!
Yeah!! White!!and black......I've watched every episode,,,,cant wait to see you guys running hard on the track...Have fun!!!
That wrap burn from the exhaust is hurting my bones! What a beast of a build! Perfect combination of Japanese and Italian greatness!
EPIC
The car, the fabrication, details, the way you are filming it.
Thanks for sharing.
glad that the hard work paid off and you got it done in time. this went from a "nice old Ferrari" to a Mike B car. love it.
ive binged this series for a week straight now basicly never skipping a video (apart from aarm saga lol) and the reveal being white kinda dulled it, but i get ur resoning why you did it.
anyway great series i loved the tiniest of details on it and how much better it looks now, keep it up man
Holy crap!!! I spent the last 7 days watching this entire build!!! First off congratulations on this phenomenal, attention to detail, fit and finish build!! I would love to see this in person one day since I’m down by San Diego. Great work and enjoy this gem of a build!!
30 hours mate and well worth the time watching mate this build is amazing
thank you mate cant wait for more epps
Enjoy it sir. Great build from all who contributed! Thanks for the inspiration.
Man that thing is perfect. One of the best looking cars I've seen period
This is one of the sickest builds I've ever seen.
dude your car looks sick! i love how you modded it, and you only used quality parts, which makes me love it even more! hope to see it win shows!
This is the most badass Ferrari I’ve ever seen. Good work!
Gorgeous, probably the best colour on this car. Well done!
I have followed this build for a while now. Years in the making and woooooowwww it was worth it
CONGRATULATIONS SIR, I know I have missed a few episodes along the way. But she is beautiful and your vision of her, is spot on.
this comment section shows such a great side of the car community. No hate, all props and respect for the build
absolutely stunning. you had me at "running and driving" and "at SEMA"
Ive watched every episode in this series over the last couple of weeks. Love the details, editing, passion etc. If only i could 'LIKE' a video twice! Great work!
congratulation bro, one of the best build ever seen in my life
What a build, seriously man I can’t even put into words what this car means to the viewers, definitely can’t imagine how you feel. You just motivated me to power wash my deck, impressive.
Absolute inspiration... 100%
I currently own a 2013 civic si coup with the original hfp package. Anytime I see a video about a honda k24 swap I get excited! I'm barely hearing about this build. I look forward to seeing your upcoming videos. This build is wild!
brother, the wing is a godsent on this car and i usually don't care much for it. Absolute amazing work on this car!
