Good to see some love for the Cosmic Putrefaction album! I've been completely enthralled by pretty much everything Gabriele Gramaglia has been doing, most of all Cosmic Putrefaction. It unfortunately has been absent from almost every top album list I've seen so far.
@@mendicantmedia If you haven’t already, I highly recommend Hadit (GG did some work on the second album), Turris Eburnea (neat little experimental death EP), and definitely Vertebra Atlantis (some real mystical, weird black/death). I certainly can’t wait for what GG does in the future!

I am nothing but persuasive! Glad you dug the Abhorration and Strychnos (and you should have bought the Engulfed, poser), but overjoyed to see Stenched take the top spot hahah. That pink variant looks well worth the wait. Yes you need to try the Witch Vomit again, it's their best, and HOW VERY DARE YOU not like Fulci hahah. That Morgue Breath sounds like something I need to check out. Cosmic Putrefaction I need to spend more serious time with, initially it hasn't grabbed me as much as the previous one. Predicting the new Phrenelith will make a place in the 2025 list!

I saw Deeds when they toured Aus and Hate Eternal and both kind of bored me but I wasn't that familiar with the music which probably makes a difference. Plus I loved grind all the way through so I wasn't averse to fast music. Oh well now I get the fun of catching up

I may join u soon on declaring Stenched top AOY cause those guys carry unique groove & dirt in their sound but I've listened to it only once. How about a top 10/15 death metal album list for 2024? Black metal is too harsh for my ears but I’m always open to a little death metal 😊

Stenched is killer, best Thou so far, and Black Curse is catchy war metal- I don't even like war metal but I dig that.
