The exhaust on Pontiac 400 is like a symphony orchestra of the car world!! My dad had a 70 gto my uncle had a 69 gto..by far my 2 favorite dream cars til this day..the greatest looking cars ever made..there will never be another car that has as much character imo!!!
My parents' best friend and his wife are second owners of a '69 Judge. The car to this day is all original as well as in MUSEUM- quality from headlights to taillights. They keep it in their garage, parked next to the "87 Buick GNX, of which they are the first owners. You're right, my friend, when you say the 1969 and '70 GTOs were such beautiful cars. (To be fair, I do feel, though, the second-gen Dodge Charger deserves honorable mention.)
I could go to my grave happy, just to drive 2 miles in that absolute monster of a car. A simply stunning peice of fine American artwork and engineering.
My brother had the same car in Georgia 1978, but sold it to a yankee in 86. I'm glad to see yall taking care of them old judges because we don't see them here anymore.
Wow!!! That thing is amazing! My favorite car since I was like 12 years old. I got a ride in one once. Not as pretty as that one but still made my day! Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed seeing your car . Looks like your in Southern Minnesota bluff country. I am in Olmstead county . I bought a 4 spd judge in 78 for Two hundred dollars back then , Still have it forever working on it. I have collector plates on mine now but still have the last tabbed plates that were on it 1980 I believe. I will be watching for you out there.
Man Joel! I would LOVE to see your 69!! I would even give you my email address. I have 2 69 GTO's right now. Neither are judges, but I did have one just like this one but without hideaway headlights in the late 80's.
had on from 1978 - 81. I always thought the exhaust sounded like a boat... mine had headers. sold it for $900.00, it needed body work and paint and was pretty tired after 3 years of burning rubber, grabbing gears and street racing. definitely the most fun car I ever owned.
Had a 1969 lemans convert with the 350 HO and a turbo 400 in it. Wore out a few tires in my day. Those cars sounded special. Speedo went to 130 and I could bury the needle with the top down.
Nice car guys. Wish I was there to set up the choke for you ;) but yeah, nice. I had two: one was Crystal Turquoise on parchment and the other was Carousel Red on black like yours. Both RAIII 4-speed M20 cars. Yours has more cam than the RAIII's did from the factory, closer to a RAIV cam, sounds nice. These cars are some of the best investments a person can make.
Hi Andrew, nice video.. Can anyone explain was there really that much of a difference in speed between a standard 1969 GTO with 400 4spd and the Judge Option? Assuming they both had the same rear gear ratio..
Gorgeous ❤ the most beautiful muscle car ever built on the planet ❤️ It was love at first sight for me Years ago !!!!!!❤ Love to own one. This beauty looks correct to me ❤ Finding a car like this is a challenge. Always check the VIN # A ❤
You should get a wood grain steering wheel for your car, feels nice and makes your car look nice too! Although it is a gorgeous Judge! My dad has one, his is RA3 455 4spd maroon
dude make sure you floor the clutch before shifting, I noticed you move both at the same time but by doing this you wear down the clutch and transmission more
Beautiful Judge! I have a 68 400 HO 4 speed that I am reviving after sitting for 46 years. From what I can tell it has the same 744 cam as the RAIII. Good to hear that when mine fires up it should have that sound! What gear is in your 69? Guessing either 3.55s or 3.90s. 👍
Good grief! Get someone who knows how to start the car, to start it! Then at the end this goofball slams the door? Yeah, he really appreciates what he has.🙄

Looking good. You need to take it out and blow it out. Sounds like it’s choked up.

Bad @55!!!!
You need to adjust your choke lol
Done
I was thinking the bigger accelerator pump kit, helped mine!
He's riding the clutch, & shifting incorrectly, I guess he doesn't know how to downshift either...😮😮😮
I don't have any idea at all...
You should lean out the jetting. Way too rich.
Yawn! Want to hear secondaries!!!
These haul ass
Sounds like a truck 😂
Cool car. Lame, unexciting video.
Good grief! Get someone who knows how to start the car, to start it! Then at the end this goofball slams the door? Yeah, he really appreciates what he has.🙄
I had a regular stock 69 GTO convertible. Still the best car I ever had. Miss it a lot.
Well first off, if the motor was HOT the choke SHOULDN'T close! And yes, that's shutting the door harder than needed.
My dream car
