No. I am Moses who speaks to you now and sent here for this very purpose. So many false doctrines when it comes to the two witnesses.

    1) the book of Daniel wasn't concluded. (Just like the books of Ezra and Nehemiah, because Israel's sins hadn't been atoned for, at the time, hence, satan was able to contend with Joshua's priestly ceremony Zechariah 3, and Zerubbabel's building of the temple chapter 4. This continued on in Zechariah, and culminated in Revelation 11:3-13).
    2) the book began from the end of God's dealing with Israel as a nation and as a people, they were no longer referred to as "my people", but " thy people " Hosea 1:9; Amos 7:8; Jeremiah 12:7-8; Daniel 9:24;
The book of Daniel continued from the beginning of the captivity, and also showed the sequence of future gentile rules and rulers, then the intermission- the beginning of the dispensation of grace, the birth of the Messiah, then the Church -which consists of both Jews and gentiles, who would be given power of adoption of sons, lost to Israel, John 1:1-13, by grace through faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and receiving Him as their Lord and Savior, then they, as completion of His body, a're taken out. Then the imminent 2nd coming of the complete new Creation, made up of Jesus Christ the Head, and both Jew and Gentile believers, as members of His body, made into His likeness, when they have fully grown up to His Fulness and Stature, baptized into Him by the Holy Spirit. Zechariah 14, when He will rescue the remnants of Israel Matthew 24:31, who will escape the pouring out of the cup of wrath of God, over all the earth.
The gentile rule and rulers will be concluded as they give way to the restoration of Israel- as a nation and people of God, Romans 11, this time, not baptized in the sea as unto Moses, or Jordan, as unto John the Baptist, but as God had promised to unilaterally forgive their sins, open up a cleansing fountain for sin, Zechariah 13:1; Jeremiah 31:31-34, put His laws into their hearts, so they will all know and honor Him as their God.
Daniel couldn't understand all this- especially the cutting off of the Messiah etc., so he got to go rest until the end, when he will be given full understanding of all this Revelation.
He was also found by the side of the river Hiddekel. He saw a certain "man clothed in linen" Daniel 10:4-6, just like He was described in Revelation 1:5,13.
He was instructed to shut the book 12:4-13.
Then, promised Savior came as prophesied, who alone was worthy to take the book that was shut, Isaiah 29:11-12; Revelation 5:1-8. He opened the book, and then shut it midway. Luke 4: 17-20; Isaiah 61:2a. (The book will be shut after the dispensation of grace, to usher in the "day of vengeance of our God " Isaiah 61:2b, and no one will be saved by grace at this time, but will still have the opportunity to hear the everlasting gospel by the 144,000, the 2 witnesses and the angels, so no one can have any excuses on that day!).
Thus, the imagery of the stories in both books are the same, essentially:
    1) the first was given without much understanding and interpretation
    2) the other was given when all the prophesies of the first one have all been revealed, disclosed or made manifest, so it was easier to put a name to the man clothed in linen in the book of Daniel, as Jesus Christ, and clearly describe the vision with great understanding- now, with the help of the Holy Spirit, for the reader John 14:26.
Also, the book of Daniel was for Israel, while the book of Revelation was for both the church and the remnants of restored Israel, when God returns to deal with them again as His people. Hosea 2:1; Ezekiel 36; Ezekiel 37.
Then, the last curse is dealt with as Genesis 5, parallel to Isaiah 65, continues into the millennium when Son of man will now live to 1000 years, or God's full day! ( Methuselah lived 969 years, Jesus as man lived for 30 years, until He was breathed upon Adam- Genesis 2:7, Abram- Genesis 17:5, 15, AbraHam, SaraHi; last Adam- Jesus Christ Matthew 3:16; the desciples John 20:22; believers, as we ask daily! Romans 8:9, 14; Luke 11:13), and then, the judgement, Isaiah 66:24, as all Israel is returned to their promised land, Isaiah 36; Isaiah 37, and other nations must perform a yearly pilgrimage Isaiah 66; Jeremiah 50; Revelation 20:10, 14:11, 19:20; Zechariah 8:20.
    Although the book of Revelation 1 indicated John as the writer, the scripture always interprets itself, and so far, I'm still looking for a reference to show where John had a part in this end time Revelation, anywhere in the Bible, from Genesis to Jude, excepting in the meaning of their names: they were both referred to as a) who Jesus loves, and b) greatly beloved of God " John 13:23; Daniel 9:23;
Revelation 1:1 may have referred to the individual as He was referred by, and not necessarily by the specific name of John.
Daniel 8:17, Daniel was told the vision was for the time of the end, and in Revelation 1:3, it was said that the time was at hand.
Revelation 1:9-10, could well be that God actually sent the Apostle John as a witness to all these events, for the scripture to be fulfilled that a matter is established out of the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses, as Jesus Christ indicated in John 21:22, that he was going to remain, possibly, for this reason as a witness to the revealed prophesies of the book of Daniel, who knew Jesus Christ by name, and witnessed him physically in this world John 1:14; 1 John 1:1-4; Revelation 1:1-2, even though wasn't expressly named in the book of Daniel, because His name was so revered at that era, (He was the Almighty God, Jehovah), until God Himself confirmed the name of the Messiah and endorsed it to be Emmanuel, His Son, Matthew 3:17; 17:2-5; Psalm 2:7- God with us ( He was going to live in their midst had they received His as the Son of David, the promised King of the Jews), Matthew 1:21; Isaiah 9: 6-7; but He became Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world John 12:32; Isaiah 62:2, that whosoever believes in Him and in His name, shall be saved! John 3:16-21; 1 John 5:11-12
Therefore, it could be where God had made Daniel to rest as indicated in Daniel 12:13, and Revelation 4:1 when he, I believe, was called to receive the unveiling or Revelation of the end time vision which he couldn't understand at the beginning, in the book of Daniel, because the next event in chapter 5, was to see the book that was shut, in the hand of God, in the process of being given to the worthy Lamb, to be re-opened, and it's content REVEALED, because He had sprinkled it with His sacrificial blood, which was acceptable to God Isaiah 53:10-11; Hebrews 9:11-22, it is now called the book of Revelation- of hitherto Hidden visions. The Lamb of God then proceeded to open the seals, one by one, to reveal and unleash each and every written word, and it's immediate fulfillment, culminating in the end of the system of this world, and bringing about the creation of new heavens and earth, and the descent of the New Jerusalem (the old has been defiled, and was replaced), so God can be the EMMANUEL He has always been, living in the midst of His redeemed, restored, regenerated and reconciled Creation, Colosians 1:19-20, so when He looks, He will see everything that He has made is GOOD, as it was in the beginning, and as it will be for all eternity, having disposed of those who destroyed it in the beginning, who now have become a spectacle to behold as the people go to Jerusalem to worship the king, bringing their gifts! Isaiah 66:20-24; Isaiah 49:17, 19!
.God will now reward past faithfulness by honoring Zadoc the priest and his descendants-the Kohathites, (whose lot was to bear the ark of the covenant), from Obed-Edom, to Joshua the Son of Josedech. Ezekiel 44:15; 1 Chronicles 6:53; 2 Samuel 15:24; Numbers 25:7-13.
.The 144,000 representing each of the 12 tribes, now fulfill God's initial plan for Israel Exodus 19:6; 1 Peter 2:9-10( written exclusively to the Jews, until his experience with Paul Galatians 2); Revelation 12.
. Ransomed Believers are now sitting with Christ in God, on the throne at His right hand, others rewarded to govern the nations of the world.
. David will be honored and rewarded, and will be the chosen King of Israel, as He has been.
Psalm 16:10-11; Jeremiah 30:9; Ezekiel 34:23-24; 37:24; Jeremiah 23:5 (Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, kept the sheep until he is restored John 10).
    .Finally the Sabbath is Kept.
(God had to get up from His Sabbath rest, after CREATION, working in and through Jesus Christ John 5:17, until He finished the work of SALVATION John 19:30; went back to the Father to send the Holy Spirit to prepare a people for REDEMPTION, and REGENERATION, so they could be like Him and as He is, to be ready for RECONCILIATION with the Father, and thus the whole creation will be restored as it was and as it should be: Good Genesis 1:31a.
. Then He rested for all eternity Genesis 2:1-3!
None of His word will ever go back to Him void!
    PS
Revelation chapters 1-3, seem to be by and through John, written to the church of God in Christ Jesus, which is separate from God's dealing with Israel, and chapter 4 is the rapture of the church, washed in the blood of the Lamb, justified, and imputed thr righteosness of God in Christ Jesus; and also the raising up of Daniel, from his rest, Daniel 12:13; the beginning of the 70th week year, which sees Israel back in the promised land, forgiven, cleansed from their sins, Ezekiel 37, untill the end, which seem to be the continuation of Daniel 12, where God returned to deal with Israel, again, until the conclusion of the world system Revelation chapters 19-22.
    But, let God be True!

Trying to confirm the identity of the 2 witnesses, which could be the Apostle John and Daniel- Royalty and the Priesthood.
Joseph, the husband of Mary, was both of the seed of David Matthew 1:1, 16; Luke 3:23-24, and of Levi.
Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, who was of the daughters of Aaron, is the cousin of Mary - the woman who bore Jesus, Luke 1:36,5, and also Mary, the mother of John, Matthew 27:56. They were all of the Aaronic Priesthood lineage.
Thus, the Apostle John is also of the Aaronic Priesthood lineage - Joshua the Son of Josedech Zechariah 3.
Daniel was one of the Princes- descendants of King David, and Zerubbabel, Zechariah 4, taken captive into Babylon. They both meet the criteria for the Candlestick and Lampstand prophecy, as the two witnesses of God, they Anointed Ones standing before the presence of God.
Their mission overlap as both represent the Church and Israel, respectively.
Revelation 1:1-2, equally applies to both of them- Daniel was referred to as "Greatly beloved " 10:111, 19, as well as John referred to himself as "the desciple whom Jesus loved " John 21:7; 13:23; 20:2.
They both received direct revelation from the risen Jesus Christ. John 16:25; Daniel 8:17; 20:1, 8-9; Revelation 1:17 (Daniel chapters 8-12. (Daniel chapter 10=Revelation 1, Jesus Christ came to give them the vision, from the Father).
Revelation 10:11 signified the end of all written prophecies, and now they must be orally proclaimed, which continues into chapter 11, about the mission of the two witnesses.
Daniel once "rested" until the manifestation and completion of the prophecy, which he couldn't understand - about the suffering and killed Messiah. John was called up in Revelation 4, and I believe the same goes for Daniel, called up from his rest.
Thus, it's highly probable that they both were the ones prophesying for 1,260 days- for both the remnants of Israel and the left behind Christians, and as witnesses to the whole world as the "mystery of iniquity" is being concluded Revelation 11:2, and the world system is being prepared for final judgement.
They had to do to fulfill the word that says, "It's is appointed to man, once to die, and then judgment." They died, but according to 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; death's sting had no effect on them, and the grave couldn't be victorious over them!
They were finally called back up, and they ascended into heaven Revelation 11:7-12 to be in the presence of the Lord
as "The Two Anointed Ones, The Church and Israel, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth " - The two Candlesticks and two Olive Trees!!!
    ZECHARIAH 4:11- REVELATION 11:4!
    Fulfilling Zechariah 4:14!
Revelation 11:6 shows the authority given to man being displayed by the 2 representatives of the fallen, but ransomed, redeemed, regenerated, restored and reconciled man- the Church, and Israel, back to his original state and God's will for him in Genesis 1:26-28- having all authority Matthew 28:18, over all creations, until the redemption of the purchased possession, and present them faultless before the presence of God the Father!
Man gets a representative in heavenly places, but no more place is found for Lucifer and his angels!
Let the Lord shed light on His mystery in Jesus' name!

The prophet Zechariah is made to know that the 2 olive trees are the 2 ANOINTED ONES that stand by the LORD of the earth. They are also refered to as CANDLE STANDS. The book of Revelation refers to CANDLE STICKS as CHURCHES & also refers to those 2 candle sticks as 2 witnesses & as 2 olive trees. The 2 witnesses are the 2 Churches of Asia which REPRESENT the Man child & these 2 churches are & were the overcomers of the church at THYATIRA who receive ""Power over the nations to rule with a Rod of iron as do the Man child"". The other Church were the overcomers of the Church at LAODEACIA who receive or are made to sit upon GOD'S THRONE as do the Man child.

Olive Tree- Priesthood Anointing (Produces Oil, Religious)
Candlesticks, (Uses Oil) or Lamp- Royalty (Political, Royalty)
    1 Kings 15:4
Joshua, the high priest (Religious), from the tribe of Levi, descendant of Kohath and Zadok- 1 Chronicles 6:12-15; End-time Ministers of God: Ezekiel 44:15-16...Zechariah 3:1; Jeremiah 33:21; Revelation 11:4; Numbers 25-7-13
Zerubbabel, the governor (not king, though the descendant of king David, but the promises to David will be fulfilled in the end, to always have a Seed in the throne. 2:Samuel 7:16; Jeremiah 30:9), the last seed of David, born in babylonian captivity, Ezra:3:2; Matthew1:12; 1 Chronicles 3:17; Nehemiah12:1; Hagai 12:1; 1 Chronicles3:17-19; (Political) Zechariah 4; given power over the religious and political powers during the tribulation to show the supremacy of God in heaven and in the earth, thus no physical power can hurt them, they are the anointed of God, for the end time!. Zechariah chapters 3 and 4. They signifed the end of law and the beginning of the promise of coming grace, through faith, in the coming Messiah, and also heralded the advent of the Messiah, Zechariah 14, and the conclusion of the world system, and the establishment of the Millennium reign and the final judgment, and the new heaven and earth- Isaiah 65, Revelation chapters 19-21; Isaiah 66:24; Lastly- the rewards Revelation 22.
The Lord never leaves any thing hanging. The two books of Ezra and Nehemiah were the only ones not concluded, as the 70th week year will continue from where they stopped and the book was shut in Daniel 12:4. God always performs and perfects His purposes and promises. He is Faithful and True, He has exalted His word above all His name, so none of His word will go back to Him void! He is God All by Himself, as some would say! All glory and praises to His Holy name! Amen!
Galatians 4:29-30! It's always been like this right from the beginning, right from the garden, then Genesis chapters 6,14:17-24; 21:9-10- Jacob and Esau; Pharez and Zerah; Pharaoh/Moses; David/Absalom; Jezebel, Athaliah, Haman, Herod, Hitler, Antichrist/false prophet.
This has to play out till the end for all to know, without a shadow of doubt, that God rules in the midst of the heathen, the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell in them, and that He is Lord of all!

Try the spirits to see whether they be of God. No one knows the identity of the two witnesses. They appear during the rebuilding of the temple. The are not here for the 3.5 tribulation. They are the fore runners and are like Malachi and John the Baptist. If you read Malachi, you can't hardly tell which one is which. The two witnesses turn the hearts of the children to the fathers and vise versa.

God gave Daniel the end time vision and revelation, and he couldn't understand what he heard and saw. Thus, the bible was shut in Daniel 12:4 because he couldn't comprehend what the angel that talked with him was saying, especially about a Savior who would be cut off- it didn't make any sense, and about the end of the world. He was only praying for God to remember His people in captivity, who are nearing the completion of their 70 years in captivity. It was then the 69th week year, so God sent the angel to let him know that His people were not ready, and they wouldn't be able to return to the promised land- which will reject them, as they were cast out already because of unbelief and disobedience to the law of the land. In His mercy, God was going to play His ultimate card - send His Son to finish the work and restore His people. But, they have to go through the period of the wrath of God, so to spare at least some, God ushered in the dispensation of Grace- whosoever would believe in Him, through the sacrificial death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His Only Begotten Son, and accept Him as Lord and Savior, will be spared.
Thus, he was told to go rest till the time of the end when everything would've come to pass already and would then be easier to understand.
The book of Revelation is the revealing or clarification of those things that Daniel couldn't understand at that time, especially that of a suffering Messiah, who will later be glorified (Benoni to Benjamin), now made manifest to him and not to the Apostle John as many thought, to whom was revealed the conclusion of the grace dispensation of the church.
Daniel was referred to as "greatly beloved" Daniel 9:23, and the Apostle John often referred to himself as "the desciple whom Jesus loved ", other than that, there's no where in the scriptures where there's any reference whatsoever, to connect him to end time revelations. Thus, Daniel must have been referred to as the man greatly beloved, (like Solomon and Benjamin), rather than by his name in the manuscripts, thus, it was attributed to the Apostle John as the person to whom the vision was revealed. Could it also be possible for Daniel to be the one on the Isle of Patmos since there was a reference of him appearing again at the time of the end in Daniel 12?
Jesus, as the Lamb of God, took the book that was sealed Revelation 5, and opened it physically in Luke 4:17-21, after His baptism and anointing, now filled with Holy Ghost and power, as the Messiah, to begin His ministry, as it was written of Him Psalm 40:6-8. He quoted the first part of Isaiah 61:2 because that was what He had come to fulfill. Isaiah 63:4, let us know that the second part would begin after the completion of the first part.
The day of the Lord's vengeance is now upon the world. The acceptable year of the Lord is fast closing. Let's endure till the end by His grace. In Jesus' name. Luke 4:17-18, Isaiah 61:2, 63:4, 34:8; 35:4, 33:22. Psalm 91.
We have no excuses. The bible will be shut again very soon, as the Holy Spirit that was sent to teach, help us understand, interpret to and lead us until the time of the end would have taken all Believers up and out of this world, thus, the bible returning to how it was in Isaiah 28:11-12; Amos 8:11-12. Everything written and revealed is unfolding.
They have started to make sense as the day draws near.
The whole counsel of God will be fulfilled, and then the end will come.

The Bible--Old and New Testaments, are God's Living Word (Hebrews 4:12). "For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." (NIV).
The Old and New Testaments witness ALL THE TIME, through those who follow Christ and do their jobs as Christians, which is to preach the Gospel to all the world as a witness to all people. The Gospel is a combination of the Old Testament, which are the words of the prophets; and the New Testament, which are the testimonies of those who knew Jesus and those called to preach the Gospel, which was the news that the Messiah (the Christ) had come, and He came in the form of Jesus. The Bible speaks to us through reading and studying it, and through those who preach the Gospel as it was intended to be preached.

The two witnesses will appear at the conclusion of the world system.
They are both representing both the church and Israel.
At this time, we're gathering together to confirm that the 2 witnesses could be the Apostle John and Daniel.
Revelation 10:11 signified the end of all written prophecies, both old and new testaments, and now they must be orally proclaimed, which continues into chapter 11, about the mission of the two witnesses.

They were finally called back up, and they ascended into heaven Revelation 11:7-12 to be in the presence of the Lord
as "The Two Anointed Ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth " - The two Candlesticks and two Olive Trees!!!
    ZECHARIAH 4:11- REVELATION 11:4!
    Fulfilling Zechariah 4:14!
Man, who was made in the image and likeness of Christ Jesus, was covered in glory at Creation, then lost this glory. Jesus Christ left His glory to save the soul of fallen man, and for the promised glory, went to the cross died and resurrected from the dead and restored man to glory John 17:22; 1 Peter 5:10. This is the anointing upon both Israel and the Church because of the faith of Abraham.
Man now has a place before the presence of God as:
    1) In Christ - Head plus His Body - the ransomed and redeemed, the Church, in the midst of the Candlesticks, Revelation 1.
    2) As the 2 Olive Trees and 2 Candlesticks- Joshua the High Priest, Zerubbabel, the Apostle John and Daniel, representing Israel and the Church,
    3) The 24 Elders representing men of old, 12 elders of the 12 tribes, and 12 elders of the Church,
    4) The 144,000, who were never defiled, even with women, but had the original body undefiled by Satan and the world.
The story is simply about the restoration of man into glory, despite the devils shenanigans over the ages.
Let the Lord shed light on His mystery in Jesus' name!

Malachi 4:5 Behold I will send Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
    Revelations 10:10-11
And I took the little book out of the angels hand, and ate it up, and it was in my mouth sweet as honey, and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many people's nations and tongues, and kings.
The Bible reveals all. No need to speculate. Study and all answers shall come. Elijah and John.

Jon Smith Think about what you're saying. Did Moses or Elijah lived for 1,260 years???

@@gregoryr4509 The fallacy is the assumption that each day represented a year. That's an ignorant assumption made by Cox and so many others. What he's not telling you, is the original hebrew has different words for the word "day." They have a word to mean a literal day and a word to mean a figurative day and so on. For example, when you say "back in my day" you're not speaking of a literal day of the week. They have a word for this. When you say "yesterday" you're speaking of a literal day of the week. They have a different word for this as well. When the prophetic scriptures speak of the 1260 days, the original hebrew word is the word used for a literal 24 hour day. There's no interpretation needed. Cox is right about one thing. The word of God interprets itself. He's the one making the assumption that the days refer to years. That's unfortunately not what the scripture says in the original hebrew. Guys like this could get away with this type of misleading before we found the original texts. But now, the only ones who still cling to this messy interpretation are the uninformed. Question... If fleshly bodies aren't needed in heaven, why did God send Michael to fight Satan for the BODY of Moses? And furthermore, why did Satan want Moses' body so badly? Could it be that God had need of Moses' body to send him back as one of the witnesses? Could it be that Satan attempted to steal his body to prevent God from sending him back as a witness and fulfilling his word? God bless my friend.

@@travisclouse3614 The first part of your comment is much appreciated and I agree with you. You lost me on the second part. God doesn't need Moses's body to bring him back. John the Baptist was the Elijah to come (Matt. 11:14)... Elijah in a different body
