Thank you for this. One small critique. Saying the “first string of the second fret” when you mean Second fret of the first string is confusing. It took me a while, but I got what you meant.

Hi Mairead,
GCEA, the G string is a low G string so it's linear tuning instead of re-entrant tuning (the G string is lower than the C string instead of higher). However it should play fine with a high G string. Hope this helps?
