I am in love with a person that I met at 14 y.o. My family moved I lost contact..I married and had children but I never stopped loving my first love..I met them again after years of trying to find them..I saw them for a week and fell apart inside..everything I did was a failure..emotional got me messed up so hence I’m back to square one..I need another chance but I know that won’t come..I have to think positive move on but it’s hard..I still write them but never receive an answer..I’m smashing my head against a rock wall..they have never told me that we couldn’t remain friends..but I was told..” I feel no fire”..I should have showed them I still felt the fire but I didn’t..I blew the only chance in that moment I ever had…time doesn’t heal things..I must move on..and quickly!….this is sixty five years now..I’m almost eighty..my heart is shattered..
