How To Prepare for The Spiritual Month of Tammuz

Tonight at sundown begins the Fourth Spiritual Month of Tammuz.
Each Biblical Spiritual month of our Father's Adonai Calendar represents a Tribe of Israel. This month is the Tribe of Reuben. The Strength and Weaknesses of Reuben are to understand for each one of us our spiritual journey with Yeshua, King Jesus.
Tribe of Rueben:
1. Rueben was the first born of Jacob (Israel) by Leah. Genesis 49:3a Jacob blessed Him with..."My might and the beginning of my strength, The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power.
But because He was unstable, turbulent, and ruled with eyes of the flesh, in Genesis 35 he committed adultery and slept with His Father's concubine.
2. This caused Him to lose the Privileges of His Birth Rite as the First Born.
a. He lost the Priesthood-being the mediator between God and His family
b. He lost his Birth rite, being the head representation for His family and lineage.
c. He Lost the Kingdom-The First Born inheritance for His family and the House of the Tribe of Reuben for generations.
3. So, what is the application for us this month? Reuben was circumstance driven not Spirit driven. He operated out of His soulish realm of emotions, feelings, and hurt.
This is the month to CHOOSE WORSHIP OVER COMPLAINING!
This is the month to CHOOSE REPENTANCE OVER REBELLION!
This is the month to CHOOSE TO SPEAK LIFE AND NOT DEATH!
This is the month to CHOSE TO SEE WITH YOUR GOOD EYE, to see what the Spirit is saying and doing.
Our eyes are the gateway to our heart. What you focus on will be what you follow and your heart believes.
Proverbs 4:20-21, My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;
Tammuz is the month when Moses came down from Mt. Sinai and the children of Israel were worshipping a Golden Calf.
During the Month of Tammuz here are some keys to help us navigate this time of spiritual warfare.
1. Reconsecrate and realign you heart to King Jesus so the enemy can't breach the walls of your heart, mind, will, and emotions.
2. Consider an extra time of prayer and fasting. Pray for Israel during this time. Pray for our Nation. Pray for Pastors and Christian Leaders that their hearts will burn with hunger for repentance and revival.
3. Stand on the Word of God. Speak out loud His Promises. Stand on God's word, it is True. God is a man that cannot lie.
4. Take your Worship to another level of intimacy. Purpose to spend time in worshipping YHVH.
5. Call out for God's Mercy. In the New Testament the Gospels tell us two stories of someone who called out to Jesus and asked Him for Mercy. The blind man in Matthew 20 when Jesus approached yelled out, "Son of David have "mercy on me", and Jesus healed him. Another time, in Matthew 17, a Father called out to Jesus to have mercy on his son who was like a lunatic and threw himself in fire and water. Jesus cast out the demons and delivered the Father's son.
This the month to SHOUT IN PRAISE!
1. Balaam attempted to place a curse on Israel three times. Each time, the LORD turned the curse into a blessing. Instead of cursing Israel, Balaam involuntarily spoke prophetic oracles of blessing over Israel.
2. The oracles of Balaam offer several glimpses of Messiah and point toward His coming: “He has not observed misfortune in Jacob; nor has He seen trouble in Israel; the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them. King Balak retained Balaam to curse Israel with misfortune and sorrow. In his second attempt to curse Israel, Balaam exclaimed that he saw no misfortune or trouble in store for Israel. Instead they were blessed because “the LORD his God is with him.” Balaam went on to say, “The shout of a king is among them.” (Numbers 23:21)
3. The word translated as “shout” is the Hebrew teruah (תרועה). It is the same word commonly used of the shofar blast. Therefore, the line could be translated as “the trumpet blast of the King is among them.”
