Present Circular Road,Central Park , some Internal roads were remodelled during my tenure....Later on I worked as Chief Engineer LDA,C&WDeptt and RDA.But the memories of Model Town are the most wonderful.....,Allah may bless the residents with his Rehma
I was born in E block model town in 1950 and studied in model town model high school c block and moved to A block khoti and did my MBBS from KEMC Lahore before joining Pakistan Army Medical corp before moving to U K .

Amazing video. My paternal grand parents moved from Delhi to model town 102 -E and my maternal grand parents moved from Delhi to 78-C, 37-38-39 C.
Growing right across bank square market was a child’s dream. My Nana was Gaddi Nasheen of Pir Bo Ali Qalander of Panipatt Pir Hameed-I’d-Din Arif Nomani, we had the annual Urs on 11 th ramazan, where Aziz Mian Qawwal Nusrat Fateh Ali khan performed. My Nani’s brother was Mirza Khairuddin Magistrate.

A wonderful experience to live in Model town and Lahore. My khala lived in G block Model Town Lahore. Famous Pakistani powt Hafeez Jallaindari lived at back their house. Shoaib Hashmi lived in the opposite side. Me and my cousins used to eat Jamans in my khalas neighbours. Begum Afifa Mammotd house near my khala house too.

My dada Khan Bahadur Ziauddin Ahmed was mentioned. He was the president of model town society and constructed the first masjid in A Block. I have lived with my dadi there and heard lots of interesting stories about it.
