I'd put him becoming Big Boss as number 1. That salute at The Boss's grave with the epic music and Eva saying "She was a true patriot" is legit the best video game ending ever. Great list though!
All my top moments are pretty much from mgs3 except 10: fighting the ocelot unit 9: "you don't have what it takes to kill me " 8: the scene with Eva when she eliminated the ambushing soldiers 7: landing as raiden during the Halo jump 6: the sigint box call 5: the call about James Bond with Major zero and paramedic 4: the face off with the fear especially the cutscene that gave me creeps when i was like 6 3: even though you technically aren't big boss you're under the impression that you are for most of the game so I'll say the recreation of the gun jam scene in mgsv 2: all the volgin encounters in mgsv and finally 1: extracting quiet and getting to have her as a supporter in game
Love seeing Peacewalker getting the love it deserves. That climactic helicopter fight with Heaven's Divide playing, AMAZING! It really feels like all odds are against you not much you can do but hide from the helicopter fire and hope for a miracle. The music playing in the background really makes you feel like you're the hero in a movie desperately trying to survive. I would also add the moment Big Boss stopped Cocoon from crushing him. What human can lift a hundred ton mech?! Who else but Big Boss! What's amazing about these are actual gameplay, not cutscenes. You're actually doing these as Big Boss. WE ARE BIG BOSS!
MSG Peace Walker Snake: The DCI tried to shake my hand, I refused. Mr. Chairman: Why do you refuse to shake his hand? Snake: Because I knew where my loyalty belonged. Chills everytime
8:06 can yall please stop saying raiden was electrocuted. There was no electricity involved whatsoever. He was briefly choked by one of solidus' tentacles
The best Big Boss moment is in the lore which is not gamified (televised or showcased) yet. In 1997 real Big Boss along with some ragtag group of people defeated a whole CIS army formed by Russia to create Zanzibar land in Kazakistan, Uzbekistan area. Imagine that in a game or Imagine how big boss's battle planing defeated a 10 country alliance army.
Honorable mention: Naked Snake proclaims that he's about to be burned to a crisp, but won't stand by and let the world be destroyed as he run towards RAXA's lunch silo in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops!
They left out the fact that he was the originator of using the cardboard box and the habit of smoking, though he favored cigars while his son Solid was into cigarettes. Not only that, but Big Boss has a fear of vampires and he actually believes that Santa Claus is real.
Becoming Big Boss is Number 1 for Me, then at Number 2: The CQC Fight Against Ocelot and the Ocelot Unit, Then at Number 3: The Torture Beat Down from Volgin
Honestly Big Boss is the main character and more compelling one than even Solid Snake. You play as him in nearly as many games as. Solid and overall he is in more entries in some form than any other character. One of the most bad ass characters ever
Solid snake is the on who literally started the entire series he is the main character I prefer Big Boss but still the main character of the story is solid snake
@@cantsuggestareasonablename9101 Well, he was part of this creation/shaping process. Also, it doesn't make him good for sure, but it's pretty badass. You mean like metal gear survive? No way thank you! Without Kojima it would not be the same as it removes the pop culture from movies, childish comedy at times, and some history lessons or fun facts. If you are confused that means you haven't played the whole series.
@@shadowsnake3867 I mean Portable Ops and Rising replicated that pretty well. Hell Rising had that childish comedy thing you describe much more than MGSV did.
@@NobleBoss you do know during portable ops and rising Kojima was still lingering around. There was to be a part 2 of rising but the studio was already committed to Bayonetta. It's Metal Gear Survive Survive that you should consider as there's no 2 cents or influence of Kojima at this point. Metal Gear Rising was originally with Kojima but they couldn't do what he wanted so they asked the studio to help them make it instead. Imo i want them to redo the Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 game. Kind of would give a good resolution to Venom Snake and Big Boss.

So a reboot with a small lore and big gameplay, so another new boring remake you mean
